I'm no Obama supporter in fact I hope he's voted out of office but I think in Indonesia eating dogs is probably about as common as it is to eat beef or pork in this country.

This is ridiculous, in all of the Democracies of the world. I think people in a democracy have no control & ethics on what they speak & discuss. All of America with pets,
are they all Dog flesh eaters. I am SAD on the lines of thought all of America is in the 21st Century. A President will any way be elected & it will have the fate as it has been for U S A. Speak & Write NEURONS not CATS & DOGS.

No, Nam ,Thailand ,and many other places used ,and still do ,to my knowledge ,raised them for food ,as we raise cattle ,and other animals. also, over seas ,they eat horses ,too .I've had some horse before at a roast ,and the meat is kinda sweet .Also had buffalo ,and gator ,too.

Probably not, unless they were named "Dinner". That is why dogs are so rare in Korea and Nam. Probably not a lot in Indonesia, either. Kinda expensive on the menu.
