They say man was made in god's image, does that mean he resembles the first humans such as the "homo erectus" ?? and not the modern evolved humans that are present today

Home Erectus is probably the closest. Take it a bit further, and was God black or white?

You are right about that. The last real "created" Christian died about 10.000 years ago.
All the other organic and inorganic things are evolutionarily developed.

What I am gathering from your question is am ambiguity between evolution and creation. If you believe in evolution then you statement negates God's hand in it but if you believe in creation or intelligent design, then who we are now is what God's image is. Do not believe you can have both.

It's not the physical image that man was made after the likeness of God. Man was created as a reflection of Gods qualities of love and justice, which the lower animals do not possess.

Depends which of the two creation stories in Genesis that one believes. The story in chapter one or the story in chapter two.

It also depends on whether folks have noticed the words "be fruitful and multiply and REplenish the Earth." One cannot replenish something that was not plentiful prior.

Still, it makes as much sense as images of 6' tall white dude with a beard. I imagine he was something of an anomaly in Israel at the time.

...allow me the theorize for you.
Now let's say that our very own creation took thousands of years, as did all the other creations. I'm sure at some metaphysical chapter we did in fact look like an unfinished Blob, to a primate to what we are now. A True Artist takes his time to create a masterpiece.

Clearly the 'human'-looking child was an evolutionary throwback, a fortunate (or maybe unfortunate) recombination of recessive genes. I'm presuming the mother and father were apes?

I don't believe in evolution, but I will state that God is not flesh so it's not our physical appearance that's God's image. It's our spiritual body.

there is alot more proof to say that humans evolved as opposed to what christianity has lol, it's funny, because you talk about human evolution not having proof yet their is so very much like fossils, tools, living places etc and all you have for proof is a highly modified book from a few thousand years ago....im assuming you are in fact a christian and or a believer in some god

How are fossils proof that we evolved. There have been found only remants of specific kinds of animals. No half-man/ half monkey has been found. As for the comment about tools, living places ect....what just proves that we have advanced technologically. The only proof that evolutionists have is a belief that everything evolved from something that they have no proof ever existed.
