It was basically the same thing. One man claimed he felt threatened by his neighbors, so he took a gun down to their home and shot them. Another claimed he felt threatened by an unarmed teen who was minding his own business walking home, and the man decided to get out of his vehicle and walk over and confront the teen with a gun.

You apparently didn't read all of your own link. George will have a tough time establishing SYG when he was the one who initiated the confrontation. He will suffer the same fate as the man in Houston.

No, the unarmed teen turned around an attacked armed man giving him no choice but to defend himself.

It look more like the unarmed teen was minding his own business, walking home when he was accosted by an armed man who should have been minding his own business. Trayvon felt threatened by this person confronting him for no reason, and he struck back. Then the armed man shot the unarmed teen, which had probably been his intent from the beginning. Nothing would have happened if he had remained in his vehicle as he was instructed.

But that's not what happened. Martin was followed and was not even approached never mind accosted..If Martin felt threatened, he was already on the phone with his GF, all he had to do was tell her to call 911 or he could have called his father which everyone is wondering why he didn't do. Witnesses saw Zim go to his car and he was waiting for the cops who told him to meet them where he last saw Martin but Martin, instead of calling it a night, went running over to Zim and attacked him. It is certain Zim will win the stand your ground case without a doubt. I take it you didn't read all the updates?

Why would I feel the need for revenge? Zimmerman didn't do anything to me. I would probably pound on him too if he accosted me in the dark.

The question remains. What was Zimmerman doing accosting Trayvon Martin after he had been told by a police dispatcher to not follow him?
