I think there is "Bring your child" to work day, which would include sons. My brothers and I all went to work with my father at least once and I worked at my mother's place of business one summer.
I believe the "daughter" day was started to encourage young girls to think about careers they might not otherwise think about entering.
It would probably be a good idea for all children to go work with their parents at least once just to see what the work place is really like.
I actually always thought Bring Your Daughter To Work Day was made up, because I don't know anyone that's ever been to one, or any workplaces that do them.
It's not as if there's a law against doing a Bring Your Son To Work Day.
It's not like *bring your daughter to work day* is some national holiday.lol. Different organizations have different days. I've never seen one with a day specifically for daughters that did not have one for sons as well. But usually they are simply "bring your child to work" days.
