The US Senate is suposed to pass a budget. The past 3 years - they FAILED to do what they are required to do.

How many Soda Heads think the failure of the Senate to pass a budget over the past 3 years is an EPIC fail?

We've seen US debt ratings fall from triple AAA.

We may see ratings fall again if spending is not controlled.

Dems do not believe they are needed see how that has worked for them???? Even tho the Constitution requires there be a budget but Dems follow their own rules !!!!! Obama is a great example of that point !!!! Credit rating as Obama would say not my fault !!!!! He will blame anyone but himself !!!!!

A formal budget could not be passed for FY2012 because of The Budget Control Act of 2011, but of course, You Conservatives here have no idea what that even is. The actual appropriations for Fiscal Year 2012 were enacted as three appropriations bills in November and December 2011, which is in accordance with the United States budget process and law. They are:

Continuing Appropriations Act, 2012 (PL112-55)
Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2012 (PL112-74)
Disaster Relief Appropriations Act, 2012 (PL112-77)

These 3 Appropriation Bills passed satisfy Federal Law in place of a formal budget. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...

I realize these words are much too long and complicated for you Conservatives on here to understand, so unless you actually see the word "buhh-jit" on something you're going to claim one hasn't been passed.
