University sponsors campaign to undermine 'white privilege'

The University of Minnesota - Duluth (UMD) is now sponsoring an ad-campaign designed to achieve "racial justice" by raising awareness of "white privilege."

The project disseminates its message, that "society was setup for us [whites]" and as such is "unfair," through an aggressive campaign of online videos, billboards, and lectures. The ads feature a number of Caucasians confessing their guilt for the supposed "privilege" that comes along with their fair features.

I wonder if they checked the financial aid department and saw what percentage of financial aid--scholarships, grants, etc. goes to these 'unfair' whites vs. what went to the so-called downtrodden minorities, if there wouldn't be revealed a new pattern of unfairness. Even when I was finishing college back in the 1980's, a disproportionate amount of aid went to nonwhites. It was getting darned near impossible for whites to get financial aid, unless it was a loan. Grants and scholarships went to minorities almost exclusively.

Maybe, that should be a new campaign: See what you ARE getting and shut up! You're getting a college education which many of your white counterparts cannot afford.

I graduated from the U of Minnesota in MPLS. back in '73 (Thank God it wasn't UMD!)... sounds like the state has gon to the leftwing dogs since then!! Glad I left Minnesota in 1980!

That is one of the most racist programs I have seen. It is blaming Anglo students for their ethnicity, an action which if they aimed it at any other race, religion or gender preference would get their funding jerked pronto. how about if the UNIVERSITY ..
actually takes students based on the concept of
(GASP)

MERIT ..

you know .. where the potential student fairly competes for admission
based on their abilities ..
(WITHOUT Pictures or Boxes checked .. or set-asides .. or any other 'discriminatory' markings based on the "SURFACE" looks)

I'd Be ASHAMED .. HORRIFIED .. INSULTED
if the reason I was 'chosen' (school, jobs, whatever) was because some BOX is where I fit ..

for me .. it is far more IMPORTANT ..
to actually EARN my credentials, position, job, whatever ..
by MERIT .. showing I can do the work .. have talent for the studies .. and yes, am committed to doing well there too ..

That ad-campaign pisses me off and its also, racist against whites especially the fair skinned ones. Well, had it not been for the scandinavians, the South would have won the Civil War. And, when I walk into the store as a Norwegian American I am always watched for God's sake. So is everyone else, not just blacks. I know I have worked retail before.

Now, as far as those participating in that campaign, wonder if they have the balls to come out and call themselves by name.

This is clearly an anti-white people campaign and as such it is racist. People should be judged on the basis of their individual character. Yet, there are many practical reasons why a rational person may have to be aware of possible danger from others of other races under certain circumstances. One such circumstance would be being on a campus with such a program and then being followed at night by three young men of another race who are glaring at you or making loud anti-white statements and may have been forced to watch this anti-white agitation propaganda. This is stirring racism, not putting it to sleep.

Has anyone noticed that so many forces are engaging one after the other to maintain what civil unrest there is and attempting to stir up even more?
