In mid-morning trading , the day President Obama signed his massive Generational Theft Act into law and a day before he unveiled a massive new mortgage entitlement, the Dow dropped to to 7,606.53. Imagine if President Bush had presided over a 2,000-point stock market drop in the same time period — during the first few months of his presidency, Dems would be shouting from the mountain tops. I will also provide one brief example of Obama vs Bush and their stimulus plans and how the markets reacted:







Bush: From March 2003 to October 2003, the S&P; 500 went from 835 to 1034 or 23.8%.







Obama: From January 2009 through July 2009, the S&P; went from 932 to 879 or -5.2%.







****Let us also compare spending. consider that from Jan. 20, 2001, to Jan. 20, 2009, the debt held by the public grew $3 trillion under Mr. Bush—to $6.3 trillion from $3.3 trillion at a time when the national economy grew as well. By comparison, from the day Mr. Obama took office last year to the end of the current fiscal year, according to the Office of Management and Budget, the debt held by the public will grow by $3.3 trillion.



In 20 months, President Obama will add as much debt as President Bush ran up in eight years.

1. He's running up crushing federal debt at a level unprecedented in American history. We are talking trillions upon trillions of dollars in debt. This ensures the the future will bring ruinous taxes, runaway inflation, or eventual financial collapse.

2. He has endorsed and benefitted from systematic violation of election and campaign funding laws. His election saw widespread voter registration fraud from his allies at ACORN and systematic acceptance of dubious campaign donations by disabling normal credit card verification procedures for online donations, allowing donations to be made from foreign donors and from donors using fictitious names. This in turned allowed donors to skirt donation limits if they wished, simply by using bogus names. In the "stimulus" bill, Obama has funded ACORN and similar groups to the tune of billions.

3. Obama has endorsed, and will continue to foster, the entitlement mentality, playing the victim, and mob rule. A typical moment was his warning to bank executives that it was only his administration standing between executives and the mobs with pitchforks. Not mentioned was the fact that Obama's pals at ACORN were the number one wielders of the pitchforks. Obama is also ushering in socialism at a breathtaking pace. Soon, no major expense in a normal human life will be paid for by the individual. Every major expense, from housing to advanced education to medical care, will be paid for by Big Brother. Incentives to work will be destroyed for both the "rich" and the "poor." We will all soon be poorer as a result.

4. Obama is gearing up to politicize and manipulate the Census to an unprecedented degree. Given the Obama campaign's and Obama administration's other manipulations, I believe it is extremely unlikely that Obama will not end up overcounting "homeless," illegal aliens, and other Democratic Party interest groups. The result will be to unlawfully shift power to blue states, cementing control of the nation in the hands of statists.

5. Obama is trampling, penalizing, micromanaging, and destroying American business to an unprecedented degree, ahd he's just getting started. Already we see major automakers about to fail (of course, this is primarily the result of the power labor unions have wielded in the auto industry), we see banks failing and being taken over, and we see restaurants, retailers, and companies in the construction business struggling and failing. To reiterate: Obama is just getting started. It is a terrible time to own a business in America.

6. Obama is lending aid, money, and support to tyrannies and terrorists. From getting chummy with Hugo Chavez to releasing dangerous GITMO terrorists to handing almost a billion dollars to Palestinian terrorists, Obama has yet to meet a terrorist or tyrant he doesn't seem to like.

7. Obama is discounting and attempting to undermine America's Christian and Judeo-Christian culture. By constantly treating Christianity as the moral equivalent of atheism and Islam in his public prounouncements -- and by proclaiming that America is no longer a Christian nation (even though about 80% of Americans still believe in the resurrection of Christ), Obama is turning his back on America's great strength.

8. Obama is retroactively criminalizing innocent behavior and excusing unlawful behavior. He appoints tax cheats to his administration and then treats AIG executives as criminals, retroactively imposing 90% taxes on bonuses. He frees GITMO terrorists who tried to kill Americans, and then threatens to prosecute lawyers who gave legal opinions on torture -- and broke no laws in doing so.

9. He is rapidly ceding the Middle East back to terrorists and tyrants. He is trying to cozy up to Iran but, more importantly, he is withdrawing troops from Iraq even as violence escalates, risking the loss of that country in the infancy of its democracy. He is moving too slowly and ineffectually in Afghanistan as dangers grow in Pakistan. He is letting the Taliban gain strength to the point where it now threatens to take over Pakistan and its nuclear arsenal.

10. I've saved the worst for last. Obama has already reduced funding for missile defense and threatens to eliminate the program entirely. Yet missile defense is the only potential defense against nuclear missile threats from a growing number of terrorists and tyrants around the world. This deriliction of duty on Obama's part could result in the deaths of millions.

While President Obama has touted himself as a post-racial president, he has built a record demonstrating precisely the opposite. Is it Obama's bitterness, or is the incessant playing of the race card by him and many of his supporters merely calculated political exploitation -- or both?



Let's look at a non-exhaustive list of examples since Obama took office.



--Feb. 18, 2009: Obama's attorney general, Eric Holder, accused the nation of being a nation of cowards on race.



--April 2009: NewsBusters reported that at the behest of the National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters, Democratic Federal Communications Commission Commissioner Jonathan Adelstein demanded a government inquiry into how the electronic Portable People Meter (used to measure radio ratings and which experts believe to be a far more reliable measure than the previous system) collects data. Obama's FCC indeed ordered an inquiry in the name of "diversity" because under the modern system, hip-hop ratings had declined and conservative talk ratings had increased.



--May 2009: White House press secretary Robert Gibbs warned critics of Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor to measure their words carefully, implying they were race-based.



--May 2009: The Obama-Holder Justice Department dismissed a case against New Black Panther Party members for voter intimidation, even though it had already won the case. Former Justice lawyer J. Christian Adams said that the NAACP lobbied Obama to have the case dismissed and that the case was dismissed based on the Justice Department's outrageous policy of not prosecuting such cases against blacks when they involve white victims.

Lloyd suggested at one point that white media executives should "step down" in favor of minorities.



--September 2009: Politico reported that in a speech to the Congressional Black Caucus, Obama "opened with a fiery civil rights talk, ticking off racial disparities, calling for greater enforcement of civil rights laws and saying that the new White House Office of Urban affairs is working to address inequality." He also compared Obamacare to the civil rights struggle.



--October 2009: The Obama-Holder Justice Department overruled a decision by the city of Kinston, N.C., to do away with party affiliation of candidates in local elections, saying that equal rights for black voters cannot be achieved without the Democratic Party.



--February 2010: After Obama had twice insulted Las Vegas and discouraged tourism there, Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman strongly criticized him, which led Obama supporters to accuse Goodman of racism.



--March 2010: The Obama administration filed a brief supporting racial preferences in university admissions.



--March 2010: Rep. John Lewis alleged that tea party protesters hurled racial slurs, but videos of the alleged incident did not corroborate it, making many believe the charges were fabricated.



--March 2010 -- The Rev. Jeremiah Wright said tea party opposition to Obamacare was based on hatred for "people of color." New York Times columnist Frank Rich made similar allegations.



--April 2010: WorldNetDaily reported that Gerry Hudson, executive vice president of the Service Employees International Union, said white American workers are "so f---ing rabidly racist" their sentiments can be used to scare blacks into supporting comprehensive immigration reform.



--April 2010: The Washington Examiner reported that a reporter asked a black protester whether he was "uncomfortable" as part of the tea party.



--Then there's the administration's playing the race card against Arizona's non-racial-profiling law, Obama's suggesting al-Qaida is racist, Obama's saying Israel is suspicious of him because of his middle name -- as opposed to his horrendous policies toward it -- and the NAACP's calling the tea party racist and then denying it.



It turns out that others are noticing this above-described phenomenon, as well, as a recent Washington Post-ABC News poll revealed that fewer and fewer people believe Obama's presidency has advanced racial relations -- 4 in 10, compared with 6 in 10 when he was inaugurated.



This is a very sad turn of events in this nation.

Is he able to work miracles? How can Obama magically lower the official unemployment rate to only twice what it was during W’s time, even while spending the country to the brink of bankruptcy and doubling down on every imaginable form of malicious regulation? Here’s how: by declaring that 1.2 million unemployed Americans no longer count because they have left the labor force, all in one month.

The labor force now consists of 63.7% of the population, a 30-year low. But that’s no reason for the “mainstream” media to put away the party favors.

“U.S. Jobless Rate Falls to 8.3 Percent, a 3-Year Low,” blared the New York Times. “The nation’s unemployment rate dropped for the fifth straight month, to 8.3 percent, its lowest level in three years, the Labor Department reported Friday, with widespread hiring across the economy,” declared the Washington Post.

Grownups remain skeptical. As the Financial Times noted,

“According to government statistics, if the same number of people were seeking work today as in 2007, the jobless rate would be 11 percent.”

Despite the hype over allegedly falling unemployment, TrimTabs CEO Charles Biderman observes:

“Actual jobs outstanding, not seasonally adjusted, are down 2.9 million over the past two months. It is only after seasonal adjustments — made at the sole discretion of the Bureau of Labor Statistics economists — that 2.9 million less jobs gets translated into 446,000 new seasonally adjusted jobs for January and December.”

In other words, bureaucrats are playing games with the numbers at Obama’s behest. But even the tiniest crumb of half-truth can prop up a reelection campaign, given the enthusiastic support of a left-wing media establishment that discarded its last remnants of professionalism to get Obama in power in the first place
