I just want to urge all Conservative to unite..I know we have differences and it is hard to read everybody on the site..I mean I have talked to a couple of my Conservative friends on the phone and it was wonderful..I felt real good about their views and them as people! I rave Conservatives according to their comments..I am sure that realistically, I might not be able to get along with everybody if we were to hang out..Some people just have personality conflicts and just can not get along! Anyway, I got friends that are Conservatives that are having differences.I am trying my best not to take sides because I admire both parties that are involved..I had a good friend just a couple of months ago that had a disagreement on foreign policy..I am more a Libertarian Independent Conservative and he is more a Republican Conservative and we had some issues..I decides to write a blog to praise him because despite of our difference he is a great guy and has made me several avators..I remember when my church splitted up 10 years ago how I felt..I refused to take sides and befriended them both..Please, Conservative do you best to get along..I mean even if you don't like the other Conservative please rave them even if you don't like them..I mean I figure I have raved some socks on here..it is hard to know when they comment and you do not actually know these people..I rave according to the comments and he doesn't have to do with the person..I mean I am sure there are a few Conservatives who don't like me and have me blocked..If you have a problem with me , please come to me first before you spread any false rumour about me..Sometimes we just needs to learn to shut up!! Anyway I plead that we as Conservative come together and do our best to get along..My desire is that we Conservatives come in unity despite of our differences or disagreements
Edit; The Rock is getting sick of all this BS..it has to stop..All this backbiting, fussing, spreading malicious rumours has to stop..We got a Conservatives acting like a bunch of school children!! Let me ask you Conservatives something; Did anybody crucify you on this site?..Jesus himself said Father forgive them for they know not what they do!! Have any Conservative done that to you? Why can we not forgive..Do we realize that men are flawed! I remember that when my church split how upset I was..I left with the group that broke away from the church and then later went back to talk to the other group..I remember going back and hugging the necks of people from both side..Right now I am not going to church anywhere..This is how bad that church spit effected me! These Conservative factions are bothering me..I have friends in both factions..I am not going to take sides! if any of you have a problem with The Rock please come to me first..I am going to rave people that I like and those I do not like..If any Conservative gives a good comment I am going to rave them! if any of you have any doubts about me just call me up and you will actually know my heart..I have already talked to a few great Conservatives on the phone..Again The Rock is making a plea for Conservatives to unite and grow up!!!

I am voting for Mitt Romney, because I feel that he can turn this country around,if he sticks to his plans and I have heard his plans..I believe he is a good man, and he does loves this country,I know that some of you don't like him or agree with me on this,but we all need to unite and stand together on this..for the good of this great country,the way the liberals are uniting for Obama, and get this radical out of the whitehouse..before we lose what rights we have left..because with each day passing we seem to be losing all of them..one at a time..
The candidates always say what they think the people want to hear..and as we know after they get elected,they do damn well what they want.. as we have seen with Obama..
I am just heart sick Rock,I just don't really know what to do,I just know one thing for sure..Obama has to go regardless..
I have to vote for whoever can possibly beat Obama,because we all know that we are looking at the face of a true socialist..and God knows what else is hidden there in that face from the American people..I truly share your concern Rock..I am hurting for my country, as I can see that you are too.I guess that prayer is all we have left..As far as uniting the people, I hope at the end,they will unite against Obama.
I pray that in the 2016 election that we will find our Ronald Reagan..I have to believe he is out there somewhere..May God Bless you Rock,and your true concern for this great country,You are a great American and we all appreciate you here on SH..

I also don't think that there is any such thing as an 'extreme' conservative. There are just those younger conservatives who have accepted a lower moral standard, by assuming that what they see on TV is normal behavior, and call us 'old school' conservatives 'extreme'.
I'm just worried about candidates that are progressive and spend-happy as the current administration.
One of the reasons the republican run earlier primaries is to allow time to re-consolidate the party after the infighting.
Anyway, I have called for that myself. In the past I have defended Ron Paul supporters against attacks by conservatives that call them weedbaggers. But lately the Paul supporters have done nothing but attack me because I support Cain or because I don't support conspiracy theories. I was even blocked by one today. I do my best but do not believe that they respect the opinions of anyone that doesn't support Ron Paul. They have made it very clear that if does not get the nomination, they will write him in and split the vote. They have said they do not care if Obama gets re-elected.
UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL. RON PAUL SUPPORTERS DO NOT WANT TO STAND UNITED. I HAVE LOST ALL RESPECT FOR THEM. IF RON PAUL GETS THE NOMINATION I WILL VOTE FOR HIM BECAUSE I BELIEVE WE WILL FALL IF WE ARE NOT UNITED. I ONLY WISH THEY FELT THE SAME WAY AND PUT THE COUNTRY BEFORE THE MAN.
I think you've been talking to the wrong ones, there are nuts in every crowd.
Some of us are just uncomfortable with some of the candidates because we feel that they are as progressive in some ways as Obama.
The only reservation I have about Cain is his ties to the Fed. Other than that, I like him much more than Perry or Bachmann. Outside of the Fed his economics are much more sound that some of the ideas I've heard.

Romney is a rino and possible Perry too. I don't like Perry giving instate tuition and aide to illegals.
The ones I've been attacked by are the very one's I've defended in the past, so it really t's me off.
I think part of it is just how divisive the concepts in the Conservative side are right now. And I think part of it may be that everyone's getting tired of the constant fighting, so folks are getting less likely to be reasonable, and more likely to strike out. I know some of the Paul supporters are getting sick of catching it from all sides by folks who are ill-informed. It does not absolve them of their reactions, but it does perhaps explain some of it. I agree with you on Romney and Perry; I think they are every bit as big government as Obama. I think one of the biggest sources of internal division among Conservatives right now is the concept of personal liberty and responsibility--too many of the conservative candidates are just too willing to let their personal prejudices guide their official actions. That's one reason why we see such a rabid split between Bachmann and Santorum on one side and Paul on the other--the other big reason being the wars.
But as long as the nominee is sufficiently conservative fiscally I think you'll see the party align together again after the primary, regardless of who gets the nomination.
of course, I'm a bit bloody-minded for a Libertarian, my personal opinion is tat we need to do what we can to prevent the voter fraud and intimidation that occurred in 2008.
I'm not sure how to stop ACORN's (in whatever name it uses) level of voter fraud, but I've got a few ideas of how to stop the voter intimidation :)
I was thinking about folks with cameras close by, with a handful of friends away from the polling area for backup. We'd need the cameras for documentation of the whole incident.

the handful of friends is simply there to keep the intimidators from initiating the violence.
LSM has issues when there's hard evidence against them.
I'll stand with Rock.
But we are also individuals who love using our minds and thinking things through too!

Look we all have the same goals, to bring America back to a limited government held in bounds by the constitution where people are responsible for them selves and free markets and consumer demand rule the economy... but we can't even agree to disagree amoung ourselves without impossing childish tactics like blocking and name calling adn other offensive means...
We can't do that here on a website designed for just that how in teh freaking heck do you think it will get done in the real live world where people have to look at one another...
