Yes, they are a joke, remember the primary debates. It was comedy central. We enjoyed laughing at their antics, but we need someone whose smart, thoughtful, and has a good personality, O'bama 2012.

Ya can't get any jobs bills passed without the Senate and Reid made a promise that none would pass his desk from the House. They've tried 28 times and all Reid does is use them for floor mats.

The problem is the joke is on the American people.

This is an illustration of how corporate money harms a demoracy. The NRA is a very large contributor to Republicans and some to Democrats. In order to compete in this "Citizens United" atmosphere, both parties have taken some donations from the Nat'l Rifle Assoc. The NRA is a powerful lobby for gun owners and Republicans are heavily favored.
Because of these donations, the NRA can even threaten Congress. Example: They are today, scoring the way Congressmen vote on the Contempt of Eric Holder. Some Representatives who accepted money, have been threatened; and now feel they must vote for contempt, even though they know Holder did not authorize gun running. The NRA has a very powerful lobby and will make sure anyone who doesn't vote for contempt, will not be re-elected. Regardless of the NRA Fast and Furious needs to be investigated. Blaming the NRA is nothing but another attempt by those supporting Obama and Holder to redirect the real matter. The real matter is what really went on with F&F and what is in the documents. If there is nothing in the documents then why not realease them? It makes no sense unless you are trying to hide something. Release the documents and exonerate themselves and put the matter to rest once and for all. Not doing so does nothing but put the onus of impropriety on Obama and Holder.
