The Real Motivation Behind Repealing ObamaCare is Racism

Samantha 2012/07/15 18:21:03
The message to conservatives is simple; the individual mandate was originally proposed in a proposal published by the conservative Heritage Foundation and then proposed in two bills during the 1990s, and two prominent supporters were Orrin Hatch and Charles Grassley. Those are facts; however, I suspect you'll try to spin it in some way since conservatives reject facts, science and reason.

One thing I like to do is to go to conservative sites and read their diatribe. The latest site I “Liked” on Facebook is the Heritage Foundation.

So why would the Heritage Foundation want to repeal the Affordable Care Act? To be blunt? Because Obama is black. Yes, I said it. Obama is a black and the leader of the Democratic Party. But, according to a lawyer who was on the Sirius Left show Mark Thompson: Make It Plain, the caller said that institutionalized racism does not exist.

The controversial individual mandate that was upheld Thursday by the U.S. Supreme Court stems back more than 20 years, believed to have originated with a prominent conservative think tank.

The mandate, requiring every American to purchase health insurance, appeared in a 1989 published proposal by Stuart M. Butler of the conservative Heritage Foundation called "Assuring Affordable Health Care for All Americans," which included a provision to "mandate all households to obtain adequate insurance."

The Heritage Foundation "substantially revised" its proposal four years later, according to a 1994 analysis by the Congressional Budget Office. But the idea of an individual health insurance mandate later appeared in two bills introduced by Republican lawmakers in 1993, according to the non-partisan research group ProCon.org. Among the supporters of the bills were senators Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, and Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, who today oppose the mandate under current law.

Today, the two Congressional leaders, McConnell and Boehner, have led millions of RWNJs to join them in their open seditionist agenda, which denies that the Republican Party ever had part in governance of any sort. But, they openly point to "him" and "them", unmistakenly the black President and the black supporting community. Such bigotry and racism can't be hidden when it just oozes from every action and word, including hundreds who post their comments here on SH.

They deny "Reaganomics", "conservative agenda", "Emancipation Proclamation", any spending bill, WMDs, wars, debts, gifts to Big Oil and Big Pharma of a half $Trillion, tax gifts to the "Top 2% Club" of the other half $Trillion, and allowing Reagan Banks and Wall Street to pillage $27 Trillion and more from America's middle class citizens. Their only focus is that single person, the object of their hateful comments, allegations, and refusal to
join in any attempt to permit him to lead a resolution to the many problems we face. They are a shameful bunch of red necks, all of them.

The race card is worn out. Please replace it with something else we can laugh at. Maybe try sexism or ageism or stupidism.

Why else, then, would a group of white conservatives support the individual mandate in the early 1990s and oppose it now? If it was a good idea in the 1990s, it's a good idea now.

So much of the anti-Obama hatred is based on racism.

As for racism, the racism and sexism are flourishing in the Republican Party and among its tea party allies. When they stop being racists, I'll stop calling them racists. I realize conservative like to pretend that racism doesn't exist; that claim alone is racist.
