Last week, we asked SodaHeads what they thought about candidates who cheat on their spouses. Herman Cain's cheating accusations didn't seem to have much of an impact on his campaign in the polls, but it quickly spiraled out of control when the public refused to let it go. Now, it's cost him his candidacy.

Earlier this year, [former] Rep. Anthony Weiner resigned from his position over a cheating scandal, and before the jokes had a chance to go limp, news of Arnold Schwarzenegger's love child got out. It's not an uncommon occurrence, and it's important that voters are able to assess what this means for their country, and how -- if at all -- it will affect their vote.

If a Democrat cheats and becomes president, he tells every little school child that oral sex is okay and it's not really sex. He redefines sex and starts the largest downhill movement in sexual behavior, just to make what he did seem okay. If a Republican tells a woman she's pretty, he has committed one of the most heinous crimes against humanity possible. He is shamed publicly on all of the major news networks and is forced to abandon his bid for office.

I've got my flaws, but at least I was born in this Country. Personal life is the "stick witch you are measured by." "A man is known by his deeds as a tree by it's fruit." If he's a liar and a cheat in his personal life, who but a fool would think he'd do better at anything else.

There were to candidates that had infedelity issues (Cain and Newt) and now the conservatives run to their aid making excuses. Somehow when Clinton did the same thing the conservatives acted like this was a sin far greater then murder. Now because it is their candidate is all forgiveable and it is the liberals fault for attacking them. I simply just don't understand their double standards.

I really don't care at all. Weiner was actually a very effective voice, as was Clinton. The Governator also seemed able to perform his public duty functions while fooling around on the side. It also seems that the spouses in these political marriages probably do have an idea of what is going on, but choose not to notice until it blows up publicly in their faces.

That said, none of those guys ever chose to run on 'family values'. By 'family values' I mean those candidates who like to use their speeches to judge and castigate others for affairs, being gay, being a single mom, etc. When a 'family values' guy gets caught, it simply shows they're a hypocrite and I tend to be harsher in my judgment of them.

But, I don't think that was ever PROVEN! People say clinton did a good job, but he didn't. we had impreachment issues, I believe that took time AWAY from the USA issues and our country. It ALWAYS takes away from the job at hand. No way around it. He is still the butt of jokes and everyone, world wide knows about his cheating ways. How do you think that makes America look to others?

Times are changing. If this poll were taken 50 years ago it would probably be about 85% of the voting public that would consider cheating unacceptable in a candidate.

No, people have lost their moral compass. That comes from all of our tolerating differant life styles. In fact we are NOT more inlelligent, we are 'dumbed down'. Now, THAT is a fact.
