0bama has section on his website where he touts - or attempts to tout - his "record on the economy." I read it, but there was something "missing". :))

So here's that section from the 0bama website, along with what I felt were the important "missing" points!

  • The President is taking aggressive steps to put Americans back to work and create an economy where hard work pays and responsibility is rewarded.
And Barack HOPEs that some day, those steps might work. In the meantime, please bear with him as he continues to blame Bush. And if they don't work, remember - it's racist to criticize a half-black President!
  • For years before the economic crisis, middle-class security had been slipping away. Wages stagnated while health care costs soared.
And Barack has CHANGEd all that. In his first term, wages not only aren't stagnating, they're going down! And health care costs are continuing to soar. In fact, the CBO says they will continue to soar even higher when 0bamacare kicks in fully.
Barack promised CHANGE - and he delivered!
  • We’ve added back more than 4.5 million private sector jobs and seen 29 straight months of job growth—but there’s more work to do.
Barack has a lot more work to do! Fewer Americans are employed now than were employed when Barack took office. Some of them don't have food stamps. Some aren't on welfare. Some are still in private housing, despite all the misery the economy has suffered.
It won't be easy making all those unemployed people completely dependent on the government. But Barack is committed to finishing the job he started.
  • When President Obama took office, he both addressed the immediate economic crisis and laid the foundation for a U.S. economy that’s built to last.
More Americans are on food stamps now than ever before in history! More are on unemployment, and for longer than ever before! And Barack is committed to making sure these changes last.
