The President's Approval is NOT 40%...Unbelievable.

luvguins 2012/03/05 19:36:36

You know sometimes you just have to shake your head or face palm at the misinformation that the right wing expects one to believe.

The latest NBC News/ WSJ poll has the president's approval rating at 50%, not 40%, and the average approval rating from Real Clear Politics is 48%. These numbers are the highest it has been since the death of bin Laden with 3 other polls also indicating 50% and above approval. Actually, the Gallup poll lists it at 45%, and not 40%

Check it out yourself at: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/president_obama...

Why right wingers persist in providing false and misleading information shows the desperation they must be feeling as the election slips away from them daily.

He's really disappointed a lot of people. They thought he was for the people, but he's really for the international socialists and global fascists.

Interesting that this Liberal blog was not a poll. 45% approval rating? I'll give a 44% margin of error based on a biased media.

Ummm...does this mean that half the citizens of the USA do not approve of him? Or does it mean that only half of the citizens of the USA do approve of him?
If only half of my bosses approved of my work I think I'd be on unemployment.

Sometimes you have to wonder how many Americans are already intimidated.
Taking a phone call from a polling institution and speaking your mind may cost you your job, your future job, your children's future, the IRS audit, scrutiny in the local news.
Let's wait for November when people are feel protected in their vote, shall we?

And Real Clear Politics is left wing. When you read these polls, you need to go alll the way to the end where they usually will tell you who exactly was polled. Then you can take them all with a grain of salt.

I just did a drive by over at this post dropped a few bombs and hightailed it out of there.

It is unbelievable that these people are that stupid. The poll they are quoting is posted right there showing 48% approval for Obama and they are dancing about it being below 40%. Unbelievable totally unbelievable.

    Mr. Smith
Not sure where you're getting 40%, I haven't seen anyone quoting 40%, I see 45% - 50%. But I always look to RCP for the averages.

On that note, did you see the USA Today poll showing Obama trailing Romney and Santorum in swing states? And if the election were held today, Romney beats Obama 48% to 46%? But that's just a poll, the one's not favorable to your candidate are easily tossed aside, right?

Another blog on Sodahead today had that 40% as a headline. Other polls have the president leading Romney in swing states 50% to 46%.
  • Mr. Smith luvguins 2012/03/06 05:08:35
    Mr. Smith
I didn't see the 40% headline. The thing about polls is that people tend to cherry-pick whichever one best fits the outcome they'd like to see. Most polls are meaningless, especially a poll taken eight months in advance of a Presidential election that only knows the name of one of the candidates. Eight months is a lifetime in politics.

Oh, that guy! He gives conservatives a bad name, he blocked me a while back when I recreated the layered effect of the Obama birth certificate using OCR. He's a closed minded simpleton who would rather talk about Obama being a Kenyan than actual economic policy that would help get the economy moving again.
