The man is an orator, we bombed Libya, an act of war, we are looking at engaging militarily in Syria, we have imposed sanctions on, and assasinated Iranians, all of wich are acts of war. For all his talk he is just as bad as bush. Down with corporate cronies, war mongers, and would be aristocrats. Vote Johnson.
It is my opinion that the government was involved in the deaths of Iranian scientists, it is obvious that our leaders have no issue with assassinations considering the assassination of an American citizen was written off as "standard operating procedure"
I am, his crimes are grievous I grant you, that doesn't change the fact that as an American citizen he was guaranteed a trial, and was innocent until proven guilty. If they had tried to arrest the man and he had been killed while resisting in a manner that endangered the lives of those arresting him, I would have no issue. However dropping a missile off at his front door, and then admitting to the world that "its no big deal, we have a kill list for this sort of thing" is a step to far. Murder is wrong, even if your murder an evil man.
I respect your opinion and partially agree with it. Murder is wrong. Would I do the "wrong" thing in certain situations? In a heartbeat. If some one was to threaten the life of my family, friends......heck, if your life was being threatened I would do something to stop it. If I had the option to simply take their legs out and sit on them I'd do that. If the only option I had was to shoot them from across the yard I'd do THAT. It doesn't change the wrongness of murder. I understand that a basic distrust of government leads to suspecting their motives and their rational for what they do. On the surface it appears that our government killed al-Awlaki because they perceived an imminent threat to others if they did not. I understand why you would not believe or would suspect their rational, though.
Excellent points - the candidates aren't CIC and can therefore squander tough words and high rhetoric without the fear of having them become real.
I like Obama's cool nature. To wish a prospective opponent good luck after hearing that same person's jabs and stabs takes equanimity. Our president has it.
Ken Doll, Romney, is going to need more than luck as Super Tuesday isn't going as well as he thought. Gingrich has GA, Santorum has TN and OK, and so far Romney has VT, VA, and MA with OH to close to call. No big sweep means they can continue to carve each other up longer which bodes well for the president.
Nothing shocking. It is good to see him speak. Not an Obama fan but I did not see much in it that would bother me. I still missed a few parts do to some one talking to much while it was on.
He called out the entire GOP field to say if they want to go to war with Iran, they should be ready to explain to the American people the consequences of such an action. He was measured and sure of himself. He did not take the bait to attack Romney with goading by the reporters, very presidential.
No he has not, congress failed to do it's job. Under the War Powers Act Lockerbie 103 allowed Libyan intervention. After the lawful time was up congress had to approve or disapprove of Libyan intervention. They instead had a vote on a criticism only resolution that did not authorize the action or not. Paul punked out not putting up the amendment that Rep. Kucinich did even when he had the first chance to offer it.
Without the CIC the rebels could not have toppled Gadhafi and many would have been slaughtered. As in the post above Lockerbie 103 allowed lawful intervention. The GOP could have said no after the War Powers Act time was up. They took the spineless route playing a game of flinch with the president. The president did not flinch.

What is your opinion on how he is handling it? I am 100% opposed to war. I can not support a president who wants war without approval of congress.
Has Obama done this, initiate a war without the approval of congress and without declaring it?
