The phrase "That's So Gay" is used over and over. Seems the Homosexual groups have a huge problem with 'THAT'S SO GAY" Do you feel the phrase "THAT'S SO GAY" is a problem ?

Saying something is "Gay" to describe it as Stupid or Dumb is implying that there's something wrong with being Gay. There's nothing wrong with Homosexuality. And to imply that there is something wrong with it in the year 2012 is ridiculous. -___-

Yes, it's stupid and derogatory towards gay people. Picking upon people who are already assaulted and denied rights is not my idea of 'a joke'. You wouldn't find it funny if you were anything other than straight. I am respectful of all people- no matter what sexuality they may have.

1) Obvious hyperbole
2) A quick Google search suggests that, dependent on country, anywhere from 1 to 5% of the population is gay.

That makes for a lot of millions. What you're missing is the other 95-99%.
Rates of infertility are higher...

Btw, when I was young, German kids started using the German word "geil", which used to mean "horny", as a means of saying "that's cool". Everything they liked was horny. Of course adults were freaked out by this. But now, about 25 years later, this usage of the word has become mainstream. Nowadays, the cool kids say "that's fat" instead of "that's horny".

Language has always been changing and will continue to change, if we like it or not. If someone steals and redefines your self-identified label, there's nothing you can do about it. Go find a new label.

I sort of understand how they feel, though. I am a straight male, sort of obsessed with cute women, but I have unusual tastes it seems, I love movies like "Sleepless in Seattle" and "While You Were Sleeping" ("chick flicks"), and I hate action films. I hate watching sports except beach volleyball and ballroom dancing (tennis if Maria Sharapova is playing). I used to work in a jail where some of the officers decided I was gay because I smiled too much, was too friendly with the inmates.. I told a gay friend about this and he told me that no gay man would think I was gay. I asked him why and he said gays are neat and clean. Oh, well. But I do not like people making fun of my "girly" tastes.

Remember that and many movies, songs, and TV show talking of being gay; in the sense of being happy. Heck, I'm gay pretty much all the time, and enjoy very much making people laugh and making them gay too with my humor
