None of our business. If we get involved the world will complain, if we don't get involved the world will complain, at least if we don't get involved it won't cost us anything and no Americans will lose their lives.

I wager a decision will not be made until after the election.

I chose undecided, but I guess the world must do what's needed to stop this... not by war, but by other measures like trade restrictions, isolation in peaceful forms, etc... What happens there is dreadful!

Short of outright war all nations should put extreme pressure in anyway it can on this government and continue to do so until it is corrected. No government should ever do this to it's own people. In the end, regardless of what is done or not done, this government will fail. It does not govern, it dictates, and that will ultimately fail like so many others have.

I think that the U.S. (and the world) learned it's lesson in Iraq. Our boys went in there and found all of those mass graves.... proving that the defectors were telling the truth: Saddam Hussein was indeed a monster and needed to be taken out.

All anyone had to say was "Were are the WMD's?" "This is just an illegal war for OIL." Nobody REALLY cares enough about what goes on in Syria, Iraq, Rwanda, etc. to spill their blood & treasure. It's all just lip-service.

war oil cares syria iraq rwanda spill blood treasure lip-service

This situation is tragic, of course. Any situation involving the massacre of a people is a tragedy, especially women and ESPECIALLY children. However, it's best not to involve ourselves when you consider that there would be no happy outcome for us. We help, we're wrong, we don't help, we're wrong. The way I see it, at least by not helping, we might be wrong still, but we don't have any unnecessary casualties.

What we should have done with all the middle eastern crises - keep out of it and accept and help refugees.

We have paid out enough fighting wars we did not start. There will be wars and rumors of war until the final conflict in Israel against the devil. If the Muslims, Chinese, the Koreans etc: want to fight, let them have at it. Our men and women should not have to fight their battles. Keep America safe from our own borders will make me happy...

This is heartbreaking especially the children that are murdered! BUT they need to resolve these issues on their own, America can not save everyone and we are creating dependent countries by constantly intervening!
The people of those countries need to stand up and revoloutionize the way things are done, if they do not it will not stop happening.
This wouldnt be the first time western civilization acted due to emotion and rage over happenings in other countries, but at this time we do not have the means or money to provide life support for other countries when we are on life support ourselves.

It's tragic and makes me sick whenever I see those images, I think countries in the region should do something, Turkey for example but they also have to worry what Russia would do if military action is taken. Very complicated,

England was involved in other wars and America also had France on their side, I see a big difference but I'm not debating your war of independence.

Given enough time the Syrian people may win,but so many people are dying in the mean time.

Let that part of the world take care of their own problems. We can't afford it anymore, and I don't mean just financially
