THE MOST CORRUPT MEMBERS OF CONGRESS

BlueMax372 2011/10/08 17:49:54

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), a non-profit government watchdog organization, released its annual report this week of the most corrupt members of Congress. The list includes 10 Republicans and four Democrats.

The Republican House members who made the list are Charles Bass (N.H.), Vern Buchanan (Fla.), Stephen Fincher (Tenn.), Michael Grimm (N.Y.), Frank Guinta (N.H.), David Rivera (Fla.), Hal Rogers (Ky.), Jean Schmidt (Ohio), and Joe Walsh (Ill.).

The Democratic House members on the list are Gregory Meeks (N.Y.), Nick Rahall (W.V.), Laura Richardson (Calif.) and Maxine Waters (Calif.).

Only one Senator made the list, David Vitter (La.). Vitter was also on CREW’s 2007 list for soliciting prostitutes, but was reelected in 2010.

Don't they mean the most corrupted members of Congress! Like a computer memory is corrupted by outside influences beyond their conytol. That's how Washington and state capitols work, like it or not.

OK, we've got the list. Let's call on the people in those districts to vote them out of office.
That is the only way to make the point that we want ethical people in government!

Last I remember CREW showed its bias and "Big Nating" of facts when it went on offence against Christine O'Donnell--IMO, its name comes from an archaic past-tense for "crow"!

I think most politicians are corrupt. They may not start out that way, but he power and lobbyist money thrown at them soon corrupt even the strongest.

True! We, however, have got people like the ones that post here, that are determined to argue and spout ideological nonsense, completely disregarding the VERY clear REALITY that party affiliation does NOT mean squat. It is ALL about Elitist getting and holding power regardless of which party is involved. It's like Orwell said in his little treatise; "1984", people are manipulated in a fashion to keep us distracted from what is really occurring, so whatever becomes 'fait-accompli', before we know what hit us. If we STOP going for EACH OTHER'S throats and focus on the REAL ENEMYY, then WE win and they get to be on the receiving end for a change.

LOL! "Palmetto bugs," the old Florida Chamber of Commerce euphemism for giant roaches (they growl)! Haven't heard that in a while! Naw, we still kill 'em en masse here with tons of airborne insecticide that still smells very much like kerosene and still leaves a slight sheen on standing water. To hell with the environment! We got bugs to kill!
