Yes, when Nobel Prize-winning economists decry that article as being filled with "multiple errors and misrepresentations," I'm not inclined to bother with looking at it. I guess some people want to feel right so much that they don't care where they get their information from.

It's ok. I can't blame you. Real information isn't really going to back your ideas that Obama's done a horrible job in office. You'll have to keep searching.

If you put your faith in Nobel Prize winners you have a lot to learn, just remember Obama won a prize that he failed miserably in. Kinda stupid that they would have awarded him with a Nobel Peace prize and then he goes to war.

I guess you never understood why we went to war, mind clouded by the current idiot in brief.

Oh, yeah... weapons of mass destruction? Or "the war will pay for itself?" Or, "Al Queda and Saddam have close ties and are probably working together?"

Which lie are we talking about first?

You obviously forget why we went to war in the first place.

Do I really have to answer that? I'm sure you spent a lot of time in the hall way in school. I guess your little internet makes you feel real powerfull now doesn't it. Not too many friends in the real world? I didn't think so.
  • captain... kevjon 2012/08/22 19:38:18 (edited)
    captainquiggle
Well, you do really have to answer that, if you happen to think that the guys that got us into the war in Iraq had just cause; those were their reasons for starting the war. I'm sure you were old enough to remember that, right?

Oh, maybe you weren't. When you graduate high school, you'll see what the real world is like.

Your ability to try and attack my personal life only aids in showing anyone reading that you can't bother to answer the question, because you don't know how to without looking like the uninformed person you are. You've relegated the exchange to a personal attack on me and I can only say that my friends love reading it when I make fools of people like you. Enjoy your day.

I was completely amazed when I saw this. The cover article is excellent. I thought Newsweek had degenerated to a useless liberal rag. Are they trying to become relevant again?

I used to read Newsweek often but haven't in years except in doctors' offices, etc. Generally they have been liberal/progressive leaning so I am quite surprised that they think Romney/Ryan would be good for the country.

I can't see that the Ryan budget will do anything but double-down on the unwise choices made in the Bush years. Things have improved under Obama, just not as quickly as we all wish it had.

There must be something hiding in the wings that gives them the gonads to run this article. Especially this close to an election, considering how they have fawned and slobbered over this guy since he came on the scene. From nowhere.

Newsweek is nothing more that a liberal propaganda rag, I will read it in a dentists office if NOTHING else is available. I remember the day when High School used this stupid magazine as a tool to teach, (any wonder our education system sucks).

As a subscriber to Newsweek, I can't wait to see if this is real. My copy has not arrived yet. Newsweek has been one of the most open supporters of the Obama regime, even to the point of twisting and distorting the facts. They have been extremely negative in their coverage of the Romneys.

To say I was surprised when I saw this is putting it mildly. Newsweek may have finally found a way to make me buy their magazine. I want to see if this is a "come on" or if the picture and story match somewhat.

I was very surprised to see the very left leaning "NEWS WEEK" come out with this cover. Is this idiot "OBAMA" getting so bad the liberal news can't take anymore? I guess they are getting tired of trying to pick up a terd by the clean end.

Can certainly hope so. I would just settle for a little truth and facts uncovered by real investigative reporting. So sick of the "opinion" pieces that distort and twist to lead the ignorant.

Investigative reporting, unfortunately, almost seems to be a thing of the past. Today it's all 'yellow journalism.' Darn, remember studying about that in high school in the late 50s and early 60s!
