On the MOST PERSONAL issue that effects Americans, the DNC pushed a health bill in 2010 that they hoped would impress Europeans, and would impress George Soros.

This bill was NEVER popular with the majority of Americans. This bill had ZERO support from Republicans! IN the ENTIRE history of our country, a bill of this sweeping magnitude would require a minimum of support from BOTH PARTIES!

I hope the DNC chokes on this disaster over the next 20 years, by their own making!

Much of the bill was written by BIG HEALTH INSURERS to increase their customer base, and thier own profits! F-them. A few of them actually knew this was NOT in their interests, and HURRAY for those!!!!!

A blend of all of the above and more... Large Insurers increased the buyer pool with the mandate, avoided competition across state lines and other changes that would cut their revenues by actually bending the cost curve down (which the law does not do). The Dem-Controlled Senate rolled over both opponents and voters in this debacle bill.

A bit of all of these and a Congress that can't be bothered to do the job they were elected to do. Any one of them that votes for a bill they have NOT read, should be voted out of office. Note that it appears CONGRESS WILL BE ABLE TO KEEP THEIR INSURANCE, while most of us will not be able to, so why should they care.

You have got to be kidding. You have learned nothing.

I have no faith in elections. During this entire primary more of our rights have been taken away with more proof that the DRCP is just a criminal organization. I say it's time for We The People to take matters into our own hands starting with a nationwide tax revolt, stop paying all bank loans and implement a national plea for our military to come home and rescue their country and put up a fence around DC and call it the National Penitentiary. Then put all of them (politicians and judges) and their bankers on trial and punish them for treason. And a note to the media ... we have special plans for you!

Yes...and the Republicans did very little to stop it, to force the issue on Obama's phony SS number, birth certificate, or anything else. Everyone knows Obama is a fraud and yet don't do a damn thing about it.

Your comment reveals your ignorance on this issue. The GOP fought the ACA (as it was written) every step of the way, and were demonized by lib/prog media for not wanting to fix health care. They were not even allowed in the negotiations, after they insisted on some common sense frivilous lawsuit reforms. Don't try to re-write history the way you want it to read.

I know they tired to look like something was being done but it is too late for a side show, they knew it wasn't going anywhere. And hopefully, I agree, that after Onumbnuts is kicked out the real repeal can proceed and be replaced with something sensible, cost effective and works well.
