The Massachusetts Insurance Blackout

The predictable consequences of forcing companies to sell healthcare insurance to people with pre-exisiting conditions are unfolding. A mere two weeks after Obama signed ObamaCare into law, one result was that Massachusetts Democrat Governor, Deval Patrick, "rejected 235 of 274 insurer requests for premium increases for individuals and small businesses over the coming year" -- requests made by that state's three largest nonprofit insurers, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim, and Tufts Heath Plan.
Later in the week, the insurers simply stopped selling policies.
"According to the Wall Street Journal, three of the four largest suffered net operating losses in 2009 and the Democrats' "arbitrary rate cap will result in another $100 million in collective losses this year [...making...] it impossible to pay the anticipated costs of claims, and threatening the near-term solvency of some companies."
But this was planned by Obama and the democrats, they knew Obamacare had to fail, so then they'll push for national health claiming they "didn't take it far enough". Cloward Piven before our eyes.

This week it became impossible in Massachusetts for small businesses and individuals to buy health-care coverage after Governor Deval Patrick imposed price controls on premiums. Read on, because under ObamaCare this kind of political showdown will soon be coming to an insurance market near you.

The Massachusetts small-group market that serves about 800,000 residents shut down after Mr. Patrick kicked off his re-election campaign by presumptively rejecting about 90% of the premium increases the state's insurers had asked regulators to approve. The HC is in the toilet in Mass. They dropped 80,000 from coverage early this year due to unsustainable costs. Their system is bankrupt, and the blue print fort the U.S. HCB by dear old departed Ted, is subject to the exact same fate. Primarily because not one penny collected over the next 4 years, the 4 years before any benefits actually see the light of day, will be put away to pay for this farce.Every single penny will immediately be put into the general fund and spent. In other words , the program will start out 1.5 trillion in the hole day one. Can you say thank you 0bammie? Can we impeach his lying ass now? Please?

Bottomline..Nothing in this world is free.....someone has to pay the bill...Oh I get it....we'll tax the rich and make them pickup the cost....But wait.... there ain't enough Rich people out there to rob from.....so it has to come from the 40 or 50% of the people who have a job.....40 to 50% don't even pay income taxes...and we wonder why we're where we are?.....Doesn't take a Harvard Scholar to figure out you can't spend more than you take in..... Unfortunately this liberal socialist president and congress we now have hasn't figured that out yet......Thank God the American people are reminding them bigtime.....

This is going to break small business & this country. It has to be repealed at the earliest possible date.

Business is in the business to make money not altruism. Health insurance as like any insurance is gambling. I say I am going to get sick, they say not and lay odds which is the fee. If I tamper with the odds and the house can't make money, they fold the operation. When the governor refused the fee increases to cover actual costs they said the game was over.

We saw what was happening in Mass. My question is why would a president repeat a state disaster into a national one. I can only surmise he is doing all of this so this country will fail, crumble and fall then he and Serios can make a one world government. How nice.
