According the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, young adults ages 13 to 24 are in a high-risk group for contracting HIV/AIDS in the United States. In 2004, African Americans had the highest rate of infection among this age group, accounting for 55 percent of those who had contracted HIV/AIDS. CDC data indicates that, in the 35 U.S. regions that reported HIV/AIDS statistics in 2004, 4,883 people in the13-year-old to 24-year-old age group tested positive for HIV/AIDS. In the reporting regions, this represents about 13 percent of the people diagnosed with the virus that year.

Though rates are likely to underestimate the actual number of sexual abuse cases in boys,
approximately one in six boys is sexually abused before age 16.2 The prevalence estimates vary
widely (ranging from 4%-76%) because of differences in the definitions used and populations
studied. This type of abuse is also related to concurrent physical abuse.1

Who are the victims?
Any boy (across the sociodemographic spectrum) can be a target of sexual abuse.1,4 However,
there exist factors that may place boys in a higher risk group. Boys at highest risk for sexual
abuse are those younger than thirteen years of age, who are nonwhite, are of low socioeconomic
status, and who are not living with their fathers. One study also suggests that disabled boys are
also at increased risk. Family factors may also contribute to an increase in risk. These factors
include living with only one or neither parent; parental divorce, separation, or remarriage;
parental alcohol abuse; and parental criminal behavior.1 Sexually abused boys are also more
likely than nonabused boys to have other family members who are also sexually or physically
abused.1,4 Those abused by a family member are at highest risk of concurrent physical abuse.1
Interestingly, there are also family factors that may decrease the risk of sexual abuse in
adolescent boys. One study found that maternal education and parental concern are protective
factors.5
Who are the perpetrators?
Sexual abusers of boys tend to be males1,4 who are known by the victim, but unrelated to the
victim.1 They tend to abuse the child outside the home1,4, repeat the abuse, and involve some
form of penetration.1 But, females can also be the perpetrators (boys are more likely than girls to
be abused by a female)4 and tend to use persuasion rather than force or the threat of force.
Threats of physical force or actual force are more common with male perpetrators and older
victims.1
What are the effects?
Although boys are more likely to be physically injured than girls during a sexual assault6,
physical signs of abuse may not exist and are usually only found within a short time period after
the incident. These physical sequelae may include anal redness, abrasions, lacerations, evidence
of sperm, or sexually transmitted diseases (including HIV). Boys younger than 2 years of age
are most likely to have physical findings.1

Of course the truth is most people are against Gay marriage not just conservatives.

I’m frankly already very tired of this. Homosexuality is a behavior which means it involves a choice. It isn’t like race or gender. At all. So quit comparing it to the Civil Rights movement or Women’s Rights. Frankly, that degrades and insults those movements. They don’t and they didn’t involve a choice or a behavior. People don’t have to do anything to have a certain skin color. Women don’t have to act like women to be women. They just are. A homosexual is defined by a sexual behavior. If this doesn’t involve a choice then pretty much any person compelled to a certain behavior could claim he didn’t have a choice either. This would basically mean the destruction of any foundation for laws against anything—an entirely arbitrary boundary line of ethics that bobs with public opinion like a ship tossed on a stormy sea. Which kind of sounds like where we are right now."

Gay scientist say that. And it is self serving lie. It is a choice. They chose it, so they can accept what goes along with it. More violence (very high between gays), shorter life spans( average is 42) And by all obvious accounts a very unhappy life. Or they wouldn't be hitting people over the head with their sexual preference. It would simply be what they do in private, if they were happy with it.

Chick-fil-a was around before Obama, they have never changed their stance . Even with the religious persecution at their throats in recent years with the haters becoming so overt and all..First chicken sandwich by the family was in 1947. Took the Chick-Fil-a name in 1967. So I guess the Obama attack has been in the works since before he was born. Wow. Those were some crafty chickens. And they have never changed their work ethic since 1947. You only know it now because the religious haters are attacking it.
