Of course not - but that's the case throughout the world.. The problem with the US is that the crazys (that is the "He seemed like a normal guy/kid - till the killing spree") and the crims ("You mean I'm a criminal now - just cos I shot my wife n' kids") can get hold of inappropriate and unnecessary guns so easily.. You want to reduce gun deaths? Look at the worldwide stats people and go compare.. It's not the crims that are the problem.. It's the attitude to and the availability of guns in your weird, gun, fear & paranoia filled backyards...

If guns are restricted from law abiding citizens, then the criminals and crazies will be the only ones with them. We are only begining to see the results of GUN FREE ZONES. Post a notice ON THE DOORS OF EVERY SCHOOL. "OUR SECURITY PEOPLE ARE ARMED AND TRAINED" At least give them something to think about.

No, but we need to look at the problem of too many guns "on the street". It's where most of the gun deaths take place. Better buybacks? I don't have the answers, but to not do anything is a crime in itself.

1. It won't be happening since liberal types will realize their plan most affects blacks and hispanics and is therefore 'racist'.

2. A better plan is to identify and register left-wing liberal progressives as threats to our health and safety - and require them to wear some kind of yellow armband so that they identifiable in public.

Of course NO. If the NRA comment was not so inane it rings true - "The best way to stop a bad-guy with a gun is a good-guy with a gun". Unfortunately the only people that will disarmed by government are those that are law-abiding and honest. The rest of gun owners will still get access because they already do not care if it is wrong.
