In Oregon they destroyed two city parks, damaged a bronze statue and left 84 dump truck loads of trash behind. I am still unclear as to what exactly they were protesting. Most likely they have no idea either.

What they may have been told did not pan out for them. The police kicked them out of the parks and arrested those that would not leave. The most ludicrous thing they did was try to close down a port. They excaped with their lives when they ran afoul of the irate Long Shoremen. LOL!

There's nothing wrong with it on principle since if the person we want out of office won't get out, it is our duty to force him out. But what in hell is OWS? It should have started off as Occupy Congress. Washington is swimming in WS money. The best we can do is elect representatives who will fight corruption. I'm guessing these impressionable people were emboldened by the scenes of Tahrir Square. The only difference is that they protested the leaders and not the military. Not the ass-backwards way these OWS'ers went about.

No matter what anyone might think, protests will cost money. It will block streets, it will block access to shops, and there will have to be security there just in case. There will also be people having to clean up.

The tax payer has been overburdened for a long ass time. A million dollars isn't really worth crying over when we're spending billions dropping bombs on top of some muslim who doesn't even use toilet paper to whipe his ass. If it would have cost 100 million to get the occupier in chief out of office, it would have been money well spent.

The Democrats tried to cash in on the OWS movement, just as the Republicans tried with the TP. It backfired on them and now they're left with the bill.

But what these idiots did is nothing compared to what the neo-cons did to this country under Bush, nor is it similar to what the progressives are doing today under Obama. Think of the bigger picture.
