WHY HASN'T THE MEDIA REPORTED ON THIS??

In many countries, taxpayers are rightly cranky over the idea that their governments are bailing out banks and others -- including their own regulators and central bankers -- who helped create the 2008 global financial meltdown. Iceland appears to be setting a new standard of taxpayer response that politicians everywhere might want to note.

Under pressure from voters and taxpayers, Iceland's President, Olafur Ragnar Grimsson, this week refused to sign a bill to reimburse almost $6-billion to Britain and Holland for money paid to depositors who put money into two high-flying Icelandic banks that failed in 2008. The president was responding to taxpayers who are essentially rebelling against being forced to pick up the tab for a financial bailout of depositors, regulators, foreign governments and even their own government and politicians. It is only a bit of an exaggeration to say that the people of Iceland are refusing to pay for all the schemes of private bankers and public officials who, over the course of the last decade, drove the whole of Iceland into bankruptcy.

    I have been saying for quite some time now that we need to pull an Iceland. Now this should show the American people how they filter the news we get. They didn't want you to know this because they didn't want us to wise up and take our country back from the psychopathic government corporation and their cohorts the gangster banksters. It's way past time to do so. Let's get on that.

    End the federal reserve banking system and default on the debt. It's retarded that congress is not in jail for abdicating their constitutionaly required responsibility to regulate the issuance of currency in the US. The gravy train for corrupt congress comes to an end with the end of the fed, so do the liar's wars. This nation's government is so broken all the way down to the city and county level as a result of the moral hazard and deception perpetrated by the fed and fractional reserve banking, fictitious financial instruments like deriviatives and the Dadd / Frank fiasco that played a major part in the housing boom and bust of 08. Glass Steagall provisions to separate banks from investment houses is a good start to fixing the problems created by the Dodd Frank bill and the elimination of Glass Steagall provisions. http://www.change.org/petitio...

    A funny fact: our "national debt" all stems from the fact that the Federal Reserve Bank (a private bank, by the way) was given the power to mint our currency and the LOAN OUR MONEY TO US at a healthy interest rate. Nice huh?

    What has really pissed me off is the fact that our liberal government forced banks to make all those bad mortgage deals knowing that they would fail down the road. Now banks could have refused and some did but governments have a way of leveraging their voter turnout policies. The kicker is that once the term came to fail and people started losing their homes the banks got a double bailout and held onto the notes of the foreclosures. This is a double bonus to the banks and a double debt to the people who were responsible enough to see the stupidity of living beyond their means.
    In America you get rewarded for doing the wrong thing and the people that do the right thing get the bill.

    I think they are both equally evil and we lose our country either way. If they both work for the same people, they do what they are told to. Just as the rest of the presidents since the Federal Reserve was illegally installed in our country. The NWO is just about taken over, if we don't stop them, say goodnite Dick!! LOL!

    I always thought that the FDIC was established to restore confidence in the banks, after the great depression. It was to insure depositors, not wildcat speculators.

    It's time for We The People to take matters into our own hands starting with a nationwide tax revolt, stop paying all bank loans and implement a national plea for our military to come home and rescue their country and put up a fence around DC and call it the National Penitentiary. Then put all of them (politicians, judges and their bankers) on trial and punish them for treason. And a note to the media ... we have special plans for you!
