The facts and nothing but the facts....

If you want to know what really happened in Arizona at the GOP delegate convention, you have to get it from those who were there, not those who THINK they were there, not those who have preconceived notions about what happened or would happen and certainly not those who think that the GOP can do no wrong. My eldest son was there and he says this is an accurate account of what happened. The account is written by a gentleman who sat beside him for the event. Doubtless there should be an inquiry and a new session to overcome the bias and fraud that was rampant. And no, Ron Paul supporters are not whiners--they just want fair treatment. You would do the same if you were cheated at every turn. In case you doubt that, do your due diligence first and see these links. THEN decide, fully informed.

Before you yell 'sour grapes' or 'whiners', please substitute the names of your favorite party and candidates into the story and see how it feels with the shoe on the other foot. I maintain that when both parties want to exclude an individual and will stoop to such gutter and mud puddle levels to do so, it is THAT person you should want to represent your best needs. Unless he is willing to rock the boat against 'business as usual", why else would they be so frightened by him? I ask also, if you consistently vote for the lesser of two evils, 'how has voting for evil been working for you?' Try something different this time--try voting like a true patriot. Vote like George Washington or Thomas Jefferson would have done--vote for liberty and smaller government. WRITE-IN your vote, if you must, but stop voting for evil, PLEASE!

I disagree. Vote for who you SINCERELY think your country needs. Don't think of your vote as the lesser of two evils. Do your homework and vote; this is a time that George Washington and Jefferson, Adams, etc would say, "THIS NEEDS TO BE A VOTE FOR WHAT YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS."

And I'm convinced we need Paul, not Romney, based on my homework. Romney is Obama Lite (see youtube or google for 'Romney Flip Flops') and Obama is a Communist Party hack, which can be verified simply by seeing his new motto (Forward) is the same as that being shown on all the major socialist websites.

Our country would do well with some of Ron Paul's approach. That said, Ron Paul doesn't stand a snowball's chance and the chance we can't take is 4 more years of Barack Obama. Ron Paul's policies will keep us out of war (so he says), but more than wars, we need to rid ourselves of Obama and get jobs back, grow the economy, grow trade. As far as Mitt Romney being Obama-lite, I disagree. He's just not as hardcore conservative as the base would like.

You mention flip-flops. Will flip flops (while they mattered in elections where not as much was at stake), they're not as important as the economy, jobs and the debt. What has the man flip flopped on related to these? At the end of the day, would you really have Barack Obama around another 4 years? That's the kind of thing that we risk if we vote for Ron Paul. We risk the man who sat across from Medvev on that open mic moment. If it didn't scare you, it should. Obama would make a deal with the devil incarnate and not include his citizenry in on it. HE'S THE MAN I CAN'T TRUST. Forget the Romney 'flip flops.' Obama is NOT TRUSTWORTHY.

I don't say that lightly, because in the past, I've always wanted and always have voted my conscience; but this election is a bit too important for that luxury (!).

And Romney is so much better? I would favor an all-out revolution than to elect Obama Lite the flip-flopper. Keep settling for the lesser of the evils and evil is all you will get. It's that simple. OCCUPY DC.

A small step toward Babylon is still a step TOWARD (or should I say FORWARD--you'll understand the significance of that if you have seen Obies new slogan, which just 'coincidentally' is the same as that of all the major socialist websites) Babylon.

You seem to realize where we are headed, but don't you think we should use the only brake that will work on this car NOW? The brake you want to use has no chance of working.
  • steven Ken 2012/05/21 05:13:22
    steven
As long as enough people THINK he is the only brake, no other option will work. When you think outside the box they want you in, you will MAKE another option work. I invite you to join us and do what is right for America, not just what your friends think is convenient. Now we are demanding the GOP get on board with US. We're tired of business as usual that never gets better.

It's too late for her. All those faces have fallen to the wayside -- 'the faves to win'. Interesting how the faves to win are all gone--Perry, Santorum, Gingrich, Cain...and the one who
can't win' is still in the race. When the time comes that anyone says to me that by writing in Ron Paul I am just reelecting Obama, my answer will be "Don't blame me for your cowardice. I'm doing what's RIGHT for America."

I don't want a socialist state and that is why I am voting for the LEAST socialist candidate. I'm no longer a follower. Now I lead. You can follow the business as usual crowd if you like and get more of the same or you can follow the real leader--Ron Paul.

Yes, Mitt Romney is much better. He's not perfect. No candidate will be perfect, ever. Too many GOP members want another Ronald Reagan, but he had faults, too. You might favor an all-out Revolution, but this country isn't ready for one. Would you really, really, really, deep in the recesses of your heart, prefer another revolution like 1776? Or better yet, Civil War?

Good grief! STOP with the "Write Him In" stuff! A write-in candidate gets ZERO electoral votes. Let's see what the RINO party does to Dr Paul. He either wins GOP or we all go to Gary Johnson / Libertarian and do our voting for Liberty that way. Paul will surely join us - that's his Home!

I'll humor you; for Ron Paul to win the GOP primary, he'd have to have the GOP behind him, and him alone. I don't think he's won one state, though I could be wrong on that one. Then let's assume he won the GOP primary, do you REALLY think that he'd have a chance when up against Obama?

I care about this country a bit too much, to see it going down the wrong path. Is Mitt Romney the perfect candidate? No. But he is the candidate with the best shot at dethroning devil incarnate, Barack Obama. Mitt Romney has a background in business that will blow a whole in Obama's 'community organizer' business. He's got a plan for job growth and knows that we need more than the anemic 115 K job growth we had last month.

They always do. He scares them. He could actually turn this train wreck around and that's what worries them. In one fell swoop he would show how inept they were and foil their plans to make us a third world nation and part of the NWO under the UN. He's a disruptive influence and they don't want any part of him.
