Mitt Romney made the rounds on network and cable news to explain his time at Bain Capital. But he only caused more confusion about his finances, including a claim that implies he is worth $6 billion. Former RNC Chairman Michael Steele and The Washington Post's Eugene Robinson join Ed Schultz to understand Romney's explanations.

I have watched Mitt often. I also read his comments in the major papers. As time goes on, and the campaign stretches , it is more and more apparent that there is something wrong with the man. Team Romney has tried valiently to dial back some of his idiotic nonsense, " I'm severely conservative", but it hasn't worked and he comes off looking like the buffoon he is.

He says to the American people, "that's all your going to get, live with it", and then expect people to vote for him. I think he is digging a very deep hole, and the only votes he'll be left with are the "anybody but Obama" birthers.

We know he is a very wealthy man, who cares if he has 6 billion or 250 million. He is filthy rich. He is also undecided on so many things, I am surprised he is so sure he is being up front about everything else. Why wouldn't you release the tax forms unless you have something to hide? He is stammering on the answers so I can't help but feel that he is hiding something. He can't even keep all his lies straight.

How in Hell, have you been able to once decern Mitt to have done any kind of interaction..... It seems he knows some one named Bain, but the interaction or supposed interaction is lost among the clouds you obviously have been smoking

Romney makes some good points about the Obama ads, confirmed by the initial factcheck report at http://factcheck.org/2012/06/... . When the Obama campaign complained about the factcheck report, factcheck doubled-down at http://factcheck.org/2012/07/... .

The silver lining is that Romney ads are now citing FACTCHECK.COM, which invalidates conservative complaints regarding their objectivity.
