My opinion is that our greatest enemy is within. The American people are so lazy and so stupid they will believe anyone who tells them what they want to hear. I don't buy the argument about the MSM being the culprit, although they are certainly not helping. In this day and age, if one truly wants to find out what is going on in the world, the answers are out there. The problem is, they only want to hear what the government is going to do for them.

Since very few people in this country seem able to even grasp the concept of balancing a checkbook, how could they be expected to elect a competent government and make them follow the Constitution?

America's most dangerous enemy is the apathy and ignorance of the people charged with electing a decent government. We have had the best Government that money could buy for well over a hundred years and we are finally about to pay the ultimate price for allowing traitors who answer to the highest bidder to rule us.

Overall people's memories ain't that good when a politician says something it's up to the reporter to research it to see if it's accurate. If it is not. Then bring it to the American people's attention................

The President is supposed to be an executive NOT a politician. We will always have politicians for presidents as long as the people are allowed to elect them.

Exactly! The constitution was written by statesmen who gave us a system which ensured the selection of presidents who were executive in nature and not political. I agree 100%! I have said it time and again that our fellow voters (legal or not) are the largest threat to our grossly divided country. How does one intentionally vote for the likes of Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and their ilk? To stoop that low attests to the unstable mental condition of those voters.
