Thanks to Leaders McConnell, Boehner, Cantor & GOP leaders, the current 112th Congress is the LEAST productive legislative body since WWII.

So far in 2012, only 61 bills have become law.

Even the 80th Congress of 1948 ~ that President Truman called the "do-nothing Congress" ~ passed 511 laws.

Romney-Ryan-GOP would like to pin the above on President Obama. However, the GOP strategy of blocking American progress began on Inauguration Day, January 20, 2012 - when 15 GOP leaders met at a restaurant, and pledged to block all attempts to recover from a second Great Recession. These GOP leaders conspired to block our economic recovery at a time when America lost 9 million jobs

Their plan was to blame the President for the consequences of their own destructive actions. Note that Paul Ryan was at that meeting in 2009.GOP/Koch kept their word, and blocked all job creation bills, including the Veterans Jobs Corps Bill - which GOP House blocked just last week. 112 th Republican Congress on Capital steps kicked in the ass

If held to the same standard the GOP held the president - fire them all including the upper chamber of the Senate where McConnell haunts D.C. And these A.holes took 2 pay raises along the way to do nothing. But obviously Boehner needs to be replaced if he can't control Ryan, Cantor and co.

I wish the number of laws they passed each Congress was 0 (ZERO). We would all be much better off. How many of the 20,730 laws passed since 1947 would we better off without?

alot since the effort to block the jobs bill in 2011 cost over 1.5 millions jobs to the middle class. By not allowing those jobs get created, revenue being talked about as we face the 'fiscal cliff' ( a made up deadline) would be solved by now as they would have naturally created more revenue and made peoples' lives better. Those jobs not created include, firefighters, policemen, construction workers, etc. We have an infrastructure that is at least a generation behind in modernization to a the slowest and most ineffient congress in our nation's history.

In the meantime, China is STILL carrying out it's official plan to improve their infrastructure that began before the US even existed - before Jefferson sent Lewis and Clark on their mission to find a path to rape and pillage the lands of the original indigenous people of the 'new world'. Instead we're on the sidelines watching China claim 95% or the world's rare earth elements that affect technologies like computers, weapons, medicine, green industries, etc...

Yeah, we could be A LOT further along. Some of those laws passed since 1947 also include your internet access, jobs, and the highway you used to get home last night.

Why would you base your opinion on the number of laws passed? How about a Congress that doesn't spend all your tax dollars not making a lot of fruitcake laws. Doesn't that sound better?

Come on is this a joke list Jeff? Really !
1. GM is on the ropes agian, and can't pay us back also their trying to get out from under Obamas control and he won't let them go.
2. Haven you been keeping up about the middle east lately? Hell the Afghan troops we are training over their are turning on our own and killing them.
3.Again I don't think your seeing the hold picture over there. The middle east is off the roof and killing anything that's Non-Muslim.
4. Gitmo is still open for now and the detainee's they have been releasing are back in the killing us business "US" again.
