Shame on the media for trying to connect this to the Tea Party (who I don't even agree with a lot of the time.) Shame on the media for trying to pin this on OWS (who I don't even agree with a lot of the time), and shame on anyone else that wants to spin this into some type of political B.S for people on both sides to bicker about. I'm sure the people of Colorado only care about there loves ones who are freaking dead now or seriously wounded. They don't give a damn about any political spins.

I could only imagine families and others getting dress; excited about seeing a film and then this shit happens.

Something like this should NEVER be politicized. EVER. Those who do it are sad and sick humans.

My thoughts and prayers are with the victim's, murdered or just wounded, thair families, and those who had to witness it.

I couldn't agree more, Latrice. A nut is a nut is a nut, and it's a crying shame good people had to die because of this one. The news media politicizing this tragedy once again proves how out of touch they are with the real world and how obsolete they have become. Whatever happened to journalistic integrity?

I am fully aware. It's the truth. The guy has obvious mental health issues and the influences of extreme groups often hold sway over such things. If the conservative RW has not tried to say that Bane was somehow a play on Bain and if they had recognized that Bane had been in existence for a very long time, and if they had not politicized this - then a dozen people may still be alive. I am not politicizing this. THEY did.

I read it and re-read it. The Tea Party, btw, has been all over the Bane/Bain thing for quite some time in my area and they are completely and utterly bonkers, nuts, insane, ignorant, stupid, and fools. The Bane in The Dark Knight Rises has nothing to do with Bain/Mitt Romney.

It already has been. Poll after poll has went up here on SH about this. One is even badmouthing the president for reading from his notes although Romney was seen doing the same thing. Pathetic.

We need to pull together in this tragedy and leave politics aside for at least a couple of days and show our respect to those that have lost loved ones.

I saw that too about him reading from his notes, and Romney was reading from his notes as well, but nothing was said about that. I was blocked by that moderator or I would have put my two cents in. It's a shame that a so-called Christian lady would put something like that up on this sad day, just because of her hatred for the President.

Right. It's sad when you think you know someone, even online, then you see them behaving in such an awful way. Can't help but wonder, are they even better than that animal that pulled the trigger? People will say that I'm going overboard but I don't think I am. If people can't, won't or don't show sympathy for these people or similar tragedies, then I lose any & all respect that was there. They don't even deserve to be among us.

I think she is actually happy about the shooting. She sure was fast to get online and criticize Obama and any other "liberal" she can think of.

I wonder if she would be this gleeful if one of her children or grandchildren were in that theatre last night?
