The Blacks want an arrest for Trayvon Martin's death. They also protested for the release of O.J. simpson when he murder a white woman. So basically these people are full of BS.

I guess everyone should just let the Black People do what ever they want to so we won't be racist

In your eagerness to find equivalency you just showed your ignorance, there is no mention of protest, not one. so again show me where people protested to free OJ.

I will wait i have nothing but time.

Read your articles before you offer them as proof. Please

That means that if a white person with money can pay for an attorney that will get them off for a murder they committed then a black person should be able to do the same.

That's beautiful. I think that's what most people want, but for me, as an individual black woman, I speak for no-one else in my race because I don't know what they think, we don't all think alike. I can't ignore the fact that we are different, but I don't hate anyone for it. Any time someone is killed there should be a thorough investigation and an arrest. Zimmerman's story made no sense. Why would an unarmed child attack a grown man with a gun who had already been following him? That's crazy.

It is crazy and the best I would know to say is he wasn't aware that the guy was armed. I know what I posted doesn't refer to all blacks. I just didn't know how else to word it. Sure we are different and as far as I'm concerned that is what makes the world great. Imagine how boring life would be if we were all the same. I love the different races and cultures I think it is great. I hate the fact that people think theirs is better than the next as far as I'm concerned no ones is better just different and it makes life exiciting to see and experience the different beliefs and cultures. Thanks for the post.

I and most of my acquaintences felt OJ was guilty in the killing of Nichole Brown, but the jury decided he wasn't. What a sad liar you are. How many "blacks" have did you survey to come up with this BS? There are many statements I could make about "whites" that probably aren't true, but lots of people will believe. I won't do it because I know it's not the right thing to do.

I'm sorry you must not watch the news. So you are telling me the black civil rights groups aren't protesting to have Zimmerman arrested without knowing any facts? You are saying that blacks were not prostesting for the release of O.J. before the trail and actually attacking and beating whites in LA? Have you been living in another Country without television? I'm sorry if My statement seems to include all blacks but I didn't know how else to word it. Though the leaders of the black civil rights groups claim to be representing the black communities or their people as they say and I really don't see alot of blacks saying they are lying and don't represent me do you?

They want Zimmerman arrested so that we can GET the facts and I agree. If he is innocent, he will have an opportunity to clear his name. Although I believe OJ was guilty, people rioted because the system tried to railroad him. If they had not tried to play dirty and plant evidence they may have been able to convict him. The rioting is about miscarriage of justice, about the system NOT working the way it's supposed to. I will riot too if it looks like Zimmerman will walk, just on his word.

So you think that it was ok for blacks to target innocent whites and beat them was ok that is how you protest against something you think isn't right? I don't think that is nothing more than thug activity at it's best. As far as Zimmerman I don't know if he was right or wrong. I do know that that law that keeps him from being arrested was voted in so he has a legal outlet. Now if people disagree with that law then you should protest to have that law abolished not threaten to put a bounty on Zimmerman's head like the Black Panthers have done they should have been arrested for that. Why do you think they weren't?

I never said it was ok to target innocent people. You are missing the point. Zimmerman should have no outlet because he wasn't standing his ground. He fought back/fired his weapon when his stalkee responded to him. If the Stand Your Ground Law protects Zimmerman, it's a bad thing because it seems like it makes it legal to follow/stalk anyone you deem suspicious and kill them if they become alarmed and fight you back. That means it could happen to you or me.

Well that isn't all clear yet on the circumstances so at this point I don't know. The story is though is that he was being beaten and was unable to retreat. He was following trayvon but never approahed him to my knowledge. Now take into consideration that this is a high crime area and the guy called hisself watching the neighbor. I personnaly think even though I wouldn't want someone following me around but if I wasn't up to no good I could appreciate someone trying to safegaurd an area I live in and that is something to consider

I think that Zimmerman should have just backed off when the 911 operator told him they didn't need him to follow Trayvon. If he had, he wouldn't have to worry about the possibility of losing his freedom and Trayvon would still be alive. This just didn't have to happen.

It really is a matter of law not so much what people think. This law that is protecting Zimmerman from being arrested was voted in. So if you disagree with that you vote to have that law removed. Now the so called civil rights group just go on that a black man was killed without any facts as to what has taken place. Do you honestly think if it was a white man the effect would have been the same?

Careful Mr. Raggett. Don't start categorizing or lumping every black person together. I know many who never jump on the bandwagon based on race. For example, there are some who believe the Trayvon Martin case would not even be news if he had been shot by a black man. Also, there are many who believe OJ was in fact guilty and got off because of sheer luck and nothing else. To make such an arbitrary statement, "So basically these people are full of BS." is not helping to promote a positive discussion.

It isn't my intention to put all blacks in a category. The problem is these black civil rights groups that claim to be representing the blacks or their people as they so often say. I may have not worded it properly but how would you break it down. I certainly don't think this is all black people nor will I ever think that it is just difficult to address without seeming racist.

The truth is a hard pill to swallow for a lot of people when it comes to these incidents. It is hard for some to see something for what it is without bringing any other issue into it. I think is has a lot to do (only for some people) with the US's racial history. That aside, it's going to take individuals to change it.....maybe....some day...Sometimes the wrong image can be projected when people get whipped up into a frenzy. There's a way to make things work. For example, there was a case in our area. It was the wanton murder of a young man walking home from work. He was stabbed for no reason and he died. This could have escalated into something horrible because it involved two different races. But it did not. People came together for vigils and spoke out against how horrible and tragic it was. But no over-the-top media hype. Another thing that helped was the swift justice that was served. The perpetrators were found, went to trial and sentenced. They also confessed so there was no protest over innocence.

Not at all for generations the justice system did not give black fair treatment. Anyway saying all blacks kinda makes you a biggot. OK had his day in court and like other rich people hired better lawyers and got off. Zimmerman should get his day in court also.

Bob It isn't my intentions to say all blacks maybe I should have worded it different. I think O.J. really got off because people were scared to convict him because of the rioting that was going on. That is my personal opinion. Blacks were jumping and beating white people at random all they cared about was they were white. I think blacks do get fair justice in the system look how many black judges we have and on the supreme court as well. Look how many black mayors and senators and even our president. It just seems to never be enough. When do you think blacks are going to just become part of society and quit seperating theirselves. You don't think that is a big part of the problem?

That I don't know. It is hard not to group people together when a good many are the way you think they are. But the way I see it, it is like a good many people calling people that are on the fence or believe that Zimmerman was in the right to defend himself ( Im not sure what I believe anymore to many conflicting stories ) or people that aren't kissing Obamas tush racist. When not every one is racist. I try very hard not to group people together. This does need to be addressed but I'm not sure how to do that with out making this worse then it already is.
