America spoke loud and clear today. While people are free to be homosexual, they are not free to demand we accept and promote their life choices.

American values have always been the pride of this Country, and they haven't gone away, in fact since liberals have begun open bashing on conservatives, the moral majority have come out swinging

It's going to be a heck of a fight. But mostly, at their core people who accept and practice perversion are weak-willed. The fact that they give in to perversion is proof of this, as it illustrates that they cannot even master themselves.

I hope America, but there are a lot of stupid voters out there. One more term of Oslime will give the win to Perversion.

They did all that? By supporting a man that donated $millions of Chick-Fil-A profit - some of which came in from gay people and through gay employees - to groups that are anti-gay rights and some supportive of "corrective" therapy that has been proven to do only harm and no good?

Doesn't sound like they think homosexuals are free to do anything but hide who they are.

LOL oh now you think you can control what a Corporation does with their money eh?

What they do with their money is NONE of your business. Who and what they support....also NONE of your business. If you enter a chick-fil-a and make a purchase, that purchase only entitles you to your purchase, not a seat on the board of directors.

Since they do not discriminate against homosexuals by refusing to hire or refusing to serve them they are well within the law. They are not required to support behavior, nobody is!!!

We are all entitled to our beliefs. Many the world over believe homosexuality to be a deviant sexual behavior. While I do not condemn homosexuals for their choices, I do not support those decisions. Any parent will tell you it is easy to seperate a person from a action. While I understand it's a foreign concept to you....as a parent I do it every day.

If you can't be happy in life without everyone approving of you and your choices, you are NEVER going to be happy. Never!!!
  • Kigan gvc 2012/08/02 03:03:33
    Kigan
I never claimed to control anything.

This is a public business, which means that their actions are subject to public scrutiny, which also means that people are allowed to disagree with what they do and speak as such.

Yes, we are all entitled to our beliefs. So why do you clearly believe that I am not allowed to express what I believe on what Cathy has done with the money he has gotten from the company?

I don't know why you are talking to me like I'm ignorant or something with this "foreign concept" nonsense.

There is a difference between not supporting and donating money to actively undermine. Big difference, and that's where this all started.

Believe me, I've had people disapproving of my choices since I was a child. I've been belittled and called outright worthless by even my direct family. So don't you even waste your time with crap like that last sentence.

People are free to not approve of me and they are free to say so. But I am also free to tell them to shove it up their *** when they go too far.

Your right, they are subject to public scrutiny, and the public spoke today.
Chick-fil-a closes at 10pm our local store had to close at 9, why? They ran out of food....food that should have lasted for a week.

You can talk about Cathy all day, if it pleases you. Bottom line, your opinion of what a Christian company does with their money holds exactly zero weight.
They can donate their money to any cause that supports their Christian beliefs, or not, the choice is theirs.

You might want to practice what you preach. You condemn people for expressing their beliefs but you want people to support yours. It doesn't work that way.
You get back what you put out into the world, often you get back more...be it good or bad.

You need to separate who you are from what you do. You are not defined by homosexuality, it's not all you are. Did it ever occur to you, that it's not you that people don't approve of but your actions?

Do you honestly think being gay is why people have held against me? Please, that reeks of passing judgment without knowing fact first. Truth is, the one thing I've been LEAST belittled over by my family and other personal relationships is being gay. I was belittled more over making a C in a difficult class in school. Or even making a B.

Let me ask: Do you even know why this is all happening? The real reason?

I have no idea what anyone has against you....since I don't know you.
May I suggest your rather abrasive personality could be one reason.

I would think your parents would be proud of a B or C, since I don't know your parents either I wouldn't hazard a guess as to why those grades would be a problem for them.

    Why all what is happening?
  • Kigan gvc 2012/08/02 23:38:33

You have no idea, yet you talked as though you did know. And your surprised that I responded abrasively?

The Chick-Fil-A issue. Do you know what the real issue is?
