The Anything Goes Political limerick thread..... post 'em if you got 'em!

A little late for St. Patrick's Day, but since the poster of the corollary Obama limerick thread (http://www.sodahead.com/united-states/the-obama-administratio...), like so many humor-less cowards on the right has seen fit to block me, I am posting this completely unblocked chance to display your poetic prowess.

Here is my submission:

There once was a party named GOP
That ran on a single theme: "Stop"
They had not a new thought
So they went out and bought
Some new rhymes, yet their polls still did drop.

In the spirit of fairness (not often seen on the other side), I am also including a conservative response:

There once was a party called Dems
Filled with progressives, liberals and fems
They vote early and often
Even from the coffin
And Chicago is where it all stems
