The health plan Romney was for before he was against? Will he be for it again before November? But he could be against again by November? I am going to approach the company that makes the magic 8 ball and have them make "the Romney Ball" where you shake it up any different day to get an answer to a question for that hour for that day.

I didn't know until I saw the results of the Mass. health care bill passed when Romney was governor on a news program. Currently 98% of Mass residents are covered and 99% of the children. Most intereting of all it has only been at the cost of 1% to the tax payers.

You would rather think that Romney who wants to be President of the entire country would want that for all of us, ya think?

another ploy for obama to dodge the responsibility of obamacare. too bad romneycare was supported by its state constitution and obamacare violates the federal constitutions 10th amendment

What I understand is that the State of Mass is far better off than the rest of the country where millions of people go without access to health care because it has become so unaffordable and more and more unavailable as a benefit. I wish you would understand that it costs us regardless because who do you think pays for those ER's where they can't turn anyone away? Those costs are passed on to the rest of us. I had a short stint in an ER not very long ago and for two hours my bill was $7300. When I confronted it, I got out of a lowly clerk that part of that cost went to the uninsured who used their facilities. Now that is something to think about and I wish you might give it a tad bit of thought also.

the difference being that romneycare was constitutionally backed by massachusetts constitution and obamacare violates the 10th amendment

So if it gets dumped by this mediocre supreme court who have made it possible to buy elections in this country now, maybe we'll find a different way to get a handle on the obscene health care problem in this country..... in a hundred years or so.

ooooh ok, now its blame the supreme court. first it was bush, then it was congress, then it was global economics, now its scotus. go figure

You can name just about everything that the cons have had a hand in and put a pile of blame on all of them. We've found out the hard way that you don't have a clue how to govern for the good of all of us, you appoint mediocre judges as in Thomas, Alito, Scalia and Roberts, and it is beyond all reason why lunch pail republicans actually believe any of your leaders give a fig if you live or die out here on Main Street.
  • David L... Sissy 2012/04/13 19:09:37

so you then accept that obama is shifting the blame then right

President Obama shifting what? If you mean if the Bill goes down at the hands of this pathetic supreme court that we're currently saddled with, then he's not the only one who will place the blame

the supreme court is a check and balance to make sure the president doesnt overstep the constitution. guess what? obamacare violates the 10th amendment. the supreme court is doing their job

Unfortunately there are no checks on this present tyrannical court. Just the fact that they "okayed" the Super Paks unaccountability and allowing elections to be bought even more than they are now is a sad point to where we've come.

I had more respect for Romney when he took credit for this instead of flipping his position like everything else

should be like everyone else instead of everything else, but if it was changed to that I'd agree with you

I would actually put Obama in that category.

He said no lobbyists would be working in his administration, yet there are many lobbyists who he's appointed.

He made a no-earmarks pledge, but his "stimulus bill" was full of them.

He promised the most transparent administration in history, but it has been anything but.

He constantly goes on about "tax fairness," but his administration features Timothy Geithner as well as a few dozen other staffers who've chintzed on their taxes.

He claimed to be a "uniter," but the country is as divided politically and even ethnically than ever before -- much of it due to the flames of race and division that he himself has stoked.

Romney is going to be shredded by the Obama campaign over this and all the other flip flops he has made. At least Mccain had concrete positions when he ran for president. Republicans even see how clueless he is. Our friend is whining about president Obama as usual like Romney is doing to cover up his own ineptness.
