    This is like the government tells you that they can protect you from "EVIL" whether from nature or otherwise, had better wake up. When it comes down to the nitty gritty, the only ones you can depend on is yourself and your family around you. maybe some of your friends, but surely, not the government.

    Both of the other options are essentially the same, but worded differently. Look, I don't know anyone who claims the government will take care of everything. And in the case of a disaster like this, the government will help where it can, but it isn't something to rely on. Relying on the government is a crutch that people tend to have, and they need to realize it will not always be as helpful as it can.

    Those people that stored food , water, Generators , batteries and other supplies will get by Just fine. The rest will just have to suck it up.

    can't), I also remember a joke that really isn't a joke: A camel is the
