Thank you SCOTUS and especially the RINO John Roberts, because you have just sealed the fate of the downfall of Liberal Progressives.

Thank you, SCOTUS. This Obamacare ruling fires up the troops as America’s eyes are opened! Thank God.
This proves to be such an unsettling time in America as we undergo the fundamental transformation that Barack Obama promised he would do to us if elected. Obamacare was dealt in deception and confusion by flooding the public with an overwhelming amount of conflicting “rationale” via thousands of pages of unread legislative detail, which is the radical left’s M.O. Obama promised the American people this wasn’t a tax and that he’d never raise taxes on anyone making less than $250,000. We now see that this is the largest tax increase in history. It will slam every business owner and every one of the 50% of Americans who currently pay their taxes. The other 50% are being deceived if they think they’re going to get a free ride – because Medicaid is broke. Recipients of Obama’s “free health care” will have fewer choices and less accessibility. Trust me – this much more expensive health care WILL be rationed; to claim otherwise defies all economic and common sense.
We will not retreat on this. A newly elected legislative branch is key to defending our Republic and fundamentally restoring all that is good in America.
SCOTUS now rules this is a tax? Well, Congress has the ability to create taxes – and also has the ability to rescind them. Upon their return from the July recess, Congress should act immediately to repeal this terrible new tax on the American people, and indeed they must repeal all of Obamacare. This is the most brazen and sweeping new tax and government overreach imposed on us. We the People did not ask for this tax, we do not want this tax, and we can’t afford this tax. This is not an answer to America’s health care challenges.
It’s time, again, for patriotic Americans to rise up to protest this obvious infringement on our economic and personal freedom. November is just around the corner. Today, the Supreme Court issued their ruling on Obamacare. In November, We the People will issue ours.

Today the Supreme Court upheld the
Constitutionality of Obamacare on the premise that the individual mandate is a
"tax."
The "incredible irony," according to MRC's Brent Bozell is that
the Court Has "Declared Obama to Be a Monumental Liar," for promising that
Obamacare was NOT a tax in 2009.

firelooker 2012/06/28 23:15:14It is a tax, it's not a tax... bottom line, Middle Class will be paying for t...+12Obie said it wasn't a tax now the SCOTUS says it is, whatever it is it's going to cost us a bunch just like every other gov't program, it will be filled w/ red tape and politicians and insurance co's making money hand over fist at our expense.

All those taxes they show will be on the healthcare industries which of course will be passed on to the consumer. I'm not sure how they figure that will lower costs, but they do some very creative talking. I've been walking around all morning at work asking if they think our healthcare will be considered one of the "cadillac plans"...then I'm reminding them if it is we'll have a new 40% excise tax. They all look at me like I'm crazy except for the people who have a clue, you know, the Conservatives! LOL!
I'm sure if Obama's still there he'll give us a waiver...afterall they always get to choose the winners and the losers!
1. There is a "tax" for people who don't buy insurance. Obama said it wasn't a tax but that's what they won the individual mandate case on, it's a TAX. The IRS will go after you if you don't pay it when you submit your federal return.
OK?
2. In the article that you posted, where they're disputing it being the biggest tax hike in history, there is no mention of this tax. They aren't counting it...PERIOD!
Do you get it now?

Following the Supreme Court’s ruling yesterday that Obamacare, the 2010 health care law, is constitutional under Congress’ ability to tax, Republicans have launched a full court press calling the individual mandate a “massive tax hike.” But as ThinkProgress noted yesterday, there is no massive tax hike: few people will ever pay the penalty, and those who do will pay less than the amount of the payroll tax increase that Republicans nearly allowed to occur.
In addition, according to a report from Families USA, 28.6 million Americans, most of them middle-class, will receive tax cuts under the bill due to entering health care exchanges and receiving affordability credits:
We found that an estimated 28.6 million Americans will be eligible for the tax credits in 2014, and that the total value of the tax credits that year will be $110.1 billion. The new tax credits will provide much-needed assistance to insured individuals and families who struggle harder each year to pay rising premiums, as well as to uninsured individuals and families who need help purchasing coverage that otherwise would be completely out of reach financially. Most of the families who will be eligible for the tax credits...

The new tax credits will provide much-needed assistance to insured individuals and families who struggle harder each year to pay rising premiums, as well as to uninsured individuals and families who need help purchasing coverage that otherwise would be completely out of reach financially. Most of the families who will be eligible for the tax credits will be employed, many for small businesses, and will have incomes between two and four times poverty (between $44,100 and $88,200 for a family of four based on 2010 poverty guidelines).
In addition to these tax credits and the fact that more than 30 million Americans will have new access to health insurance, the health care law will help create millions of jobs.
If you go and look at the breakdown of their assertions, you're going to see, that is if you actually thought and looked at it, the lack of any numbers pertaining to the "individual mandate". So, if individuals don't buy insurance and they are fined the "tax" those numbers aren't even counted.
So you've gutted the premise and are calling it factual...so typical!

ObamaCare after all of the taxes are implemented in 2019, is expected to bring in $104 billion in increased revenues that year according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO). The CBO also estimates that the GDP that year will be $21.164 trillion dollars. That means that ObamaCare will take in .49 percent of GDP in 2019, making it about the same as taxes by Jimmy Carter in 1980, George H.W. Bush in 1990, or Bill Clinton in 1993. ObamaCare is not the largest tax increase in the history of the nation, nor is it the largest tax increase in the history of the world.

I think he is telling us something big.
And by making it a TAX, he just pissed off everyone in America but the progressives since none of them pay taxes to begin with.
Sorry, red, it's you not me.
In spite of what the progressives think, this election will be decided by the indies and right now they are on our side. We need to keep them here.
We have some very un-American Congressmen and Supreme Court justices who are not serving us. Who are they serving? Who knows! But it isn't us!
EDIT: I stand corrected. It's only if 0bama wins another term that we need a 2/3 vote to override his veto power. (Thanks Scotty for pointing that out.)
