A Tea Party activist in New Jersey puts it this way:
Since 2011 she tried to tell everybody that the Republican Party never liked the Tea Party, and regarded them as adversaries, people to be squashed, not promoted.
And now Karl Rove proved her point, with his screed about "undisciplined candidates."
News flash! Mitt Romney lost the election because he gave the game away. His was the most lackluster performance ever by a candidate. (Almost as if he didn't want to win, or was not allowed to win. But I digress.)
Add to it the selection by the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Republican Parties of candidates who couldn't even rally their own bases, much less swing any swing voters.
And now Karl Rove has declared war against the Tea Party.
So this activist, and many others of like mind, have only this to say:
"THANK YOU VERY MUCH!"
What say you?

Tuna 2013/02/06 20:54:51Thank you, Mr. Rove, for flying your true colors.+18If Rove can not win an election with this nation as bad off as it is, he's in the wrong business. The 2010 mid-terms were NOT an endorsement of establishment republican RINOs. The "Let's Make a Deal" politics is coming to an end.

Mr. Rove not only sidled up to the crazy, he embraced it and licked it in the ear.
Now he's got one of those passive-aggressive, bi-polar, schizophrenic, co-dependent relationships with the crazy trailer park chick and he can't get it to end. She's sticking to him like glue - and it's all his own fault. He was warned not to go there!

I'd say Mr. Rove had better check his own credentials before stomping on the Tea Party's.
That bastard Rove - He wants to throw support behind the most conservative candidate who can win an election. That SOB, how dare he think about winning elections when we need more candidates like the witch, or that dumb bell in Nevada or the rape twins with uncontrollable mouths. Hell, we have principles and making sure that every far left wing nut is in office is a small price to pay for our nobility. Run Rove outta town on a rail before anyone is infected with this whole winning concept.
That is why BOTH of them spent so much time and effort to demonize that movement. Both political party leaderships know that if the TEA party succeeds in making the changes in our tax system a reality, the party is truely over for the lobbyists and the money they buy our leaders with.
Rove can have all his Electable Candidates. I'll gladly settle for anyone of the Tea Party's unelectable candidates.
idiots all; and this scumbag Rove tried to sell these incompetents
Karl Rove now has the power to legitimize or discredit entire groups of people with his words??? Really? Well if he says they're bad, they must be good! Same with Obama, his words have the power to eliminate all critical thought. If he says the Citizens United ruling is bad, it must be good! WTF??? Baffling.
Sadness is for America and its choice of "the promise" instead of the actual objective.
Sadness because we bought into the greed and envy argument against the 'other guy' that we ended up not wanting... without turning around and looking at what we really WERE buying.
Yup... hate is not it... Just sadness, for our poor choices that were left for us to choose from. I'm sorry that you have so much difficulty discerning between those emotions.
