The Supreme Court ruled in Texas v White, that secession is impermissable. However, they also ruled that states have the right to dissolve if they have a right to revolution. In order to excercize a right to revolution, there must be a condition existing that affects everyone in the state and not only certain groups. It also requires the approval of all the other states. Consider it an impossiblity.

The ability to secede from the Union is written into the constitution of Texas. It was one of the requirements Texas had for joining the union in the first place.
Although there is a downside to gun ownership in Texas and, I'd imagine, most states. My niece was standing at a fence, petting a horse once. Some Texas biddy was driving by, held a gun out the window of her truck, and fired off a shot. It appeared she intended to spook the horse, which she succeeded in doing. Such a dick move that fortunately did not have a tragic ending.
If you don't know how--or don't care--to use a gun responsibly, take a pass. You just make the rest of us look bad.
