Yes, at least we are certain that this molester will NEVER hurt another child again. We have no problem putting down a rabid dog, he got what he deserved. BRAVO, to the father....

How disturbed of a mind could even think of doing that to a child, it is just so repulsive. I feel so bad for anyone this happens too. I say a life for a life, because that is stealing a child's life.

The potential danger to children and their future well being so outweighs the rights of the child molester so as to totally negate them. They should be summarily executed.

I think their attraction to children is born in them the same way a person is born heterosexual or homosexual. You can't change those desires. Killing them or keeping them incarcerated forever is the only way to deal with them.

Actually it is more a learned and perpetuated behavior, not an innate behavior. After reading many studies over the years and having gone through this my self, (other siblings also), we conclude it is learned.

Some people can be hypnotized to quit smoking by implanting the idea that a cigarette tastes like a cross between cookie and roadkill. It removes all pleasure from smoking, so the smoker is forced to quit. Maybe some child molesters can be similarly hypnotized to believe it is the last thing they want to do.

I don't know if hypnotizing has been tried with child molesters, but it sure worked to help my chain-smoking lady friend quit smoking.

...Not necessarily. Everyone is different.

BUT, and this is a big but, I have to say seeing this news story made me extremely happy. It's a good thing when love overcomes morals and the fear of consequences. And i would question this guy's parenting if he hadn't done something of this nature. I've got four little brothers, and if anyone so much as tried to touch one of them, i would put my life on the line. It's the natural thing to do when you love someone. Whether the child molester could've been rehabilitated or not doesn't matter. The point is that this man was being a dad, and was justified in doing what he did. Even if he gets twenty years in jail, some things are worth that and more.

Yes, I understand but we cannot condone that kind of justice. That is why we have laws and police and courts. Do we really want vigilante thpe behaviour? I think he will have to stand trial and the jury will go easy on him. All molesters should be neutered. It would be a favor to them and society.

Even if they were neutered, they would still molest with hands, mouth, foreign objects... The brain is the largest sex organ, theirs is flawed and cannot be fixed. Death is the only cure.
