‘Terrible’ Jobs Report Proves Obama Tactics Have Failed?

~ The Rebel ~ 2012/05/05 01:02:19
Mitt Romney used the latest jobs figures to criticize President Barack Obama’s
management of the economy ahead of a campaign appearance in Pennsylvania.

“This is way, way, way off from what should happen in a normal recovery,”
Romney said during a Fox News interview.

“It’s a terrible and very disappointing report this morning,” the presumptive
Republican presidential nominee said. “We seem to be slowing down, not speeding
up.”

Employers in the U.S. added fewer workers than forecast in April and the
jobless rate unexpectedly declined as people left the labor force, underscoring
concern that the world’s largest economy may be losing speed.

Payrolls climbed 115,000, the smallest gain in six months, after a revised
154,000 rise in March that was greater than initially estimated, according to
Labor Department figures released today in Washington. The median estimate of 85
economists surveyed by Bloomberg News called for a 160,000 advance. The jobless
rate fell to a three-year low of 8.1 percent.

“This is not progress,” Romney said. “It’s a terrible record, and it shows
that the president’s policies have simply not worked. It’s taken far too long
for our economy to recover.”

    I don't think so.
His goal wasn't to improve the US economy, or increase private-sector employment.
His goal was to steal as much power from the people as possible, pay back the unions who helped him steal the election, and create as much debt as possible.
Then use it as an excuse to hike taxes, and trick the STUPID Americans into believing that he was trying to fix employment and the economy.
Let's hope he failed at THAT.

Terrible would be a negative. Right now it's still positive numbers. If you compare job losses under Bush it was higher than under Obama.

Unemployment was under 5% during the Bush admin.
Obama has stifled private industry growth.
The 8.1% unemployment doesn't count the numbers of working-age Americans who have given up looking for work. The true unemployment rate is well over 10%.
This is a direct result of Obama regime policies.

was it at 5% at the end of the Bush admin? Nope.
But since the unemployment no. has little to do with presidents you're barking up the wrong tree.

It has a LOT to do with policies.
The Dems took congress in 06.
Their policies, Obama's policies, have decimated our economy.
