It's much worse in Oklahoma, where they are defending a doctor's right not to release test results. We are being "polarized" by politicians who absolutely don't give a damn about these issues.

The Oklahoma Legislature voted overwhelmingly Tuesday to override vetoes of two highly restrictive abortion measures, one making it a law that women undergo an ultrasound and listen to a detailed description of the fetus before having an abortion.
Though other states have passed similar measures forcing women to have ultrasounds, Oklahoma’s law goes further, requiring a doctor or technician to set up the monitor where the woman can see it and describe the heart, limbs and organs of the fetus. No exceptions are made for rape and incest victims.
The second measure passed into law Tuesday protects doctors from malpractice suits if they decide not to inform the parents of a unborn baby that the fetus has birth defects. The intent of the bill is to prevent parents from later suing doctors who withhold information to try to influence them against having an abortion.
Gov. Brad Henry, a Democrat, vetoed both bills last week. The ultrasound law, he said, was flawed because it did not exempt rape and incest victims and was an unco...

Oh, and btw, Rush did NOT attack 'women' as sluts. He called ONE woman a slut. AND he apologized for it. She was paid. That makes her a whore, not a slut.
You want to reduce and eliminate abortions then the best way to do that is through providing contraceptives to low income women and through sex education in schools and community programs.
Without those services you and all tax payer are paying huge amounts for unwanted children and more children on welfare.
As for those that say that a woman can go to her local Planned Parenthood for cheap birth control, I have to ask, aren't you the same people that want funding for Planned Parenthood to be denied? Also, if the woman DOES go to Planned Parenthood for her CHEAP birth control, then you are indeed paying for it with your taxes. Why are you encouraging these people to use Planned Parenthood when you are so dead-set against paying for their birth control with your tax money?!?
Please do not expect anyone to listen to your sanctimonious arguments and put any credence into them.
As far as Ms. Fluke goes, you evidently did not actually read her testimony, instead relying on long-winded propaganda-meisters, i.e. Rush Limbaugh, for your sole source of information.
I think it's a great thing that the de facto head of the Republican Party, Rush Limbotomy, and the his minions in State and federal government are pushing ahead in their idiotic war on women. The amazing thing is, that they are so stupid that they cannot see the end result--their staggering losses in November. I stand in awe of their unbelievable, political inanity.

Take your pick. Or maybe we can get rid of both parties, and require people to think independently, and vote for candidates that will actually work for the best interest of all people in the United States and not just one class, gender, religion, race, or income level.
I'm just trying to look it things from both sides and I'm realizing that neither side has my, nor your, best interests at heart. We need to wake up and see that both sides work for special interests and lobbyists, and that both sides have been screwing us for decades.
I believe women have a right to privacy, but this is NOT identifying them as a person but a demographic. And as a parent, I have the right to know whether my preteen or teenage daughter is having or had an abortion. This is my role as a parent. I'm responsible for her as her parent and guardian.
Too many times in the past, preteens and teenagers received abortions without the consent of their guardian or parent. AND THIS IS WRONG!
Kathleen Sebelius, now Secretary of Health and Human Services, had her hand in destroying the "evidence" when she supported George "the baby killer" Tiller, back when she was the former Kansas governor. And conveniently, the attorney general that was investigating this criminal activity was indefinitely disbarred.
Now, if they had to destroy the evidence, doesn't this mean they were doing something wrong?
This is not for demographic purposes an mandates that it would be released to the public. It is clearly designed for harassment and is a violation of privacy and the HIPPA act.
The Life Defense Act of 2012, sponsored by state Rep. Matthew Hill (R-Jonesborough), mandates that the Tennessee Department of Health make detailed demographic information about every woman who has an abortion available to the public, including her age, race, county, marital status, education level, number of children, the location of the procedure and how many times she has been pregnant. Each report would also have to include the name of the doctor who performed the procedure."
"detailed demographic information about every woman who has an abortion available to the public, including her age, race, county, marital status, education level, number of children, the location of the procedure and how many times she has been pregnant."
That information could easily be used to identify a woman especially in smaller counties. It is a violation to relase that iformation and the Doctors name to the public.
