She should be charged with rape, child molestation, child endangerment and any other sexual charge they can think of. Send her away for 25 yrs and make her a dangerous sexual predator who should not have any contact with people under 18 when she is actually freed....it should go without saying she's never teach again......this is only if we didn't execute her.

...rape is only in the case of non-consensual sex. At 16, one can consent, so why assume rape? That's idiotic. There's no mention of it being rape, in fact, the article seams to imply they had a relationship of sorts, so that pretty much confirms it wasn't rape.

yea i understand that and it is probably the right thing to do but people have to look at it through the teenagers eyes because i know a lot of guys who would have taken her offer for sex and i think thats what the kid wanted and when word got out he most likely changed his story to say that he didnt like it

banshee, you are of course correct. The idea of this happening to an average 16 year boy and a 16 year old girl is completely different.

The ladies definately won't understand and perhaps some of the more 'feeling type' guys but the rest of us know exactly how an average 16 year old boy is because we were one.

Some will discuss the heavy, twisted things it will do to his view of sex, again never been a 16 year old boy. I'm not saying let the teacher off. She showed terrible judgement and should be punished. Just don't compare a dog with a cat.

I agree, when I was in HS (late1960's) many guys had the hots for teachers. I knew many that took one teachers art classes because she was "hot" as I recall a few bragged about bagging her, but if all hs guys "got" the girls they bragged about, it would have been HS orgy.

If this was a "normal" 16 year old boy, he probably would have been bragging, especially if he was a jock (well unless he was gay perhaps)

I remember we had several girls that had older boyfriends, I remember 2, one had a 25 yo bf pick her up after school daily, I remember a couple of girls calling her a slut, (they were w i d e L o a d s) and were most likely jealous. then I also remember one girl that was passed around by members of the 3 Dog Night Band.
