16's age of consent here, and frankly, at 16 it's silly to think that's too young to be able to consent. Sure, they shouldn't have been going at it IN the school, especially during school hours, but honestly, I really see no real problem here unless the 16-year-old was forced into the act... and I'm going to assume considering he "admitted" to their relationship, he wasn't forced. Not to mention, at 16, it's not like he was pre-pubescent. At 16, a boy can physiologically be an adult, the body is developed. So this isn't even a case of a pedophilic relationship, just going about things very irresponsibly.

It was irresponsible to pull him out of class for sex, but that's all.

Mind you, I don't really understand the appeal of a 16-year-old boy, I like my men experienced, but I guess everyone's into different things.

In the passed they haven't. I remember once when a female teacher got off with no prison time, she had to be classified a sexual offenders, pay a fine, take a sexual offender class and do probation, but no prison time. Also there was a case that was very similar, going on at the same time where a male teacher got over 5 years of prison time.
