In Missouri, they say, "You have to show me." Todd Akin (pictured) "showed them," all right. Now he's the third Tea Party man to be contending for the Senate. He joins Richard Mourdock of Indiana and Ted Cruz of Texas.

Claire McCaskill might have egged the Republicans on. They ran an ad that gave Akin some back-handed compliments.

And now the establishment has to take notice. Ted Cruz will get to speak at the Republican National Convention later this month.

WHAT?? Every time you start your car a % of your earnings go to a foreign country; most every time you buy RETAIL a % of your income goes to a foreign country. Then they take OUR money and lend it right back to us. Obama had the tax reduction for that one year that expired. Have you bought groceries lately?? All that failed experiment in GREEN energy has driven prices sky high; the corporate tax rate is the highest in the world due to Obama. You can't be serious.

Corporate tax rates are at the highest rates, yes. But not individual tax rates. Those are at their lowest in over half a century. And even in the case of corporate taxes, "loopholes and other special treatment for different kinds of businesses mean that businesses pay an effective rate of only 29.2% of their income, which puts the United States below the average of 31.9% among other major economies".

Communist News Network is in the tank for the progressives. My taxes haveNEVER been lowered; that's a myth. The base has been broadened which overall lowers the amount paid. Obama has shrunken the base and put them either on welfare or unemployment THUS the overall amount is lower.

Isn't that where you could watch the play-by-play of the phoney Russian revolution? No highways in or out were closed; no air traffice halted; no communications controlled; not a single shot fired; and you could watch it on CNN; what kind of revolution is that?

We may yet see a real citizen's opposition party to stand against the government elite party of the Democrats on our behalf rather than the pathetic sell outs in the GOP we've had to rely on.

So you say multiculturalism is over and yet many of the early states were very different, culturally speaking. Does this also mean that you think that African Americans are 3/5 a person as stated in the original document? I also thought is was considered a living document to allow for change as times and people change. The forefathers had vision to know that people and times change and they wrote a living document that allowed for that change and to not stagnate.

Exactly my point; all the changes. We got to be the superpower of the world in a little over 125 years, a very short time in the scheme of things. We see the switch to multiculturalism and PC taking us back down. There is no telling how much of "we the people"'s tax dollars has been spent on elevating people; the government can not do it, the people have to do it themselves.

How do you contend that the Constitution and multiculturalism are mutually exclusive?
  • Tuna Grandbr... 2012/08/09 10:54:42

To begin with the Constitution LIMITS the power of the Federal Givement not accelerates it; the Federal Givement is supposed to protect our borders; they do on the Canadian border but the southern border they don't.Safe haven given to illegals who soak our system for benefits due American citizens. The separation of powers has been discarded by this administration; Obama thinks he iis a three branches by-passing due diligence in presenting bills to Congress for Executive orders that legislate. On and on the Constitution has been by-passed for idealogy.

Good! Now, let's hope that he can put an end to Claire McCaskill's term of lunacy!
We NEED to take back the Senate, and hold onto the House of Representatives.
If we can do that, then Obama's days will be SEVERELY numbered, if he does happen to win the election. (I don't really expect he will, but you need to have foresight to expect trouble!)
