Obama plans to fast-track Oklahoma oil pipeline amid criticism over Keystone delay

No surprise here, is there? Odimwit flips to whatever his listeners want to hear! In oil fields and amid acres of solar panels, Obama is trying to rebut charges that he has stifled domestic energy production and been too eager to spend government money on renewable energy projects as gas prices have climbed to $3.86 a gallon. His emphasis on oil drilling is aimed at countering criticism of his rejection of the 1,700-mile Keystone XL pipeline, which would carry tar sands oil from western Canada to refineries along the Texas Gulf Coast.

For Obama's advisers, rising gas prices pose a threat to his re-election bid because they could undermine the benefits of a payroll tax cut that he made the centerpiece of his jobs agenda last fall -- Congress approved the tax cut extension in February -- and throttle the economic recovery.

Don't get excited. He's only blessing 1/2 a pipeline. You know, the part that he has nothing to do with.
I guess that makes sense in liberal world.
    Democraps are frauds.

The ultimate have your cake and eat it, too, with Obamade to wash it down: a pipeline unconnected to a source and ending who-knows-where-for-what-actu...

His position on Keystone has be unambivalent...until now. He opposed it after Congress approved it. His attempt to blame Congress for its failure is something only the biggest Obamade guzzzler will swallow...which apparently includes the Chicago Tribune and the LA Times, the press standard bearers of his brand printed skew-news-vision.

On a personal note, I'm paying $4.19@gal. for regular I suppose compared to other economically upbeat areas of the U.S.A. in not that bad.

The OKLAHOMA PIPELINE DIDN'T NEED OBAMA'S APPROVAL. WHAT A SACK OF CRAP. THE MEDIA DIDN'T HAVE MUCH COVERAGE OF THE PROTESTORS. THE GATHERING WAS DEMOCRAT INVITATION ONLY.

This man is truly loony. LOL but he knows that even if Oklahoma builds a pipeline, nothing can happen because he won't let the pipeline connect to the North.

It's all smoke and nirrors when it comes to Obama, example--he keeps pushing these Electric cars and there are no charging stations in place. The average American is more than 300 miles from a station where he/she could charge an electric vehicle but he nor the Dems will ever provide that information to the American consumer
