It's no secret that many think the fierce mood of partisanship is
Washington. While most of the fur flies between the
major parties in Congress — with the president weighing in
occasionally to keep his party
on message — this week has seen an outbreak of
hostilities in a less traditional venue: between the Supreme
and the president. In a controversy stretching back to January’s State
of the Union Address
, Chief Justice John Roberts told a group
of law students at the University of Alabama that President Obama’s
very public dissent from the Court’s Citizens United ruling, which
effectively rolled back most existing restraints on corporate funding
of political campaigns, was a provocation to the court’s cherished
independence."On the other hand, there is the issue of the setting, the
circumstances, and the decorum," said Roberts. "The image

Obama has this attitude like he is always reprimanding everyone when he makes a speech, the justices the American people etc., if anyone needs a good stiff talking to, he ought to look in the friggin mirror and reprimand himself for being a clueless clown.

LOL! I would have difficulty being your mother, but I concur with her advice. If things do not change appreciably when the new Congress convenes in January, 2011, then we've done our patience thing and we have to take out the bastards by force of arms.. My guess that the NAZI Obama will attempt to prevent or delay the 2010 mid-terms. This will be the signal for revolution which will move the force of arms solution up by about two months.

It's about time!! Obama is on such a power grab that it's not funny

Obama has no respect for any office in this country. Each and every day he displays his true feelings for this country and her people which is distain. Thank you Chief Justice John Roberts for spotting a rat when you see one.

Justice John Roberts is a man admired and respected by the majority of the people in this Country, whereas less than 50% feel the same way toward Obama. I was extremely pleased to hear him make a stand and speak out on this issue. Obama's lie and disrespect for the Supreme Court was among the top five worse speeches in history. That is one more notch he can put on his belt as he overcomes Jimmy Carter's title of being America's worse president.

I would of jumped up and yelled "YOU LIE" if I'd been there. Because Obama lied, it is still against the law for foreigners to contribute to anyone who is running for a government office in the United States. So the Supreme Court is right to blast him.

He thinks he is above the law!!

    Too true.

And so far, he has been. He didn't even get in trouble for going to Pakistan when there were restrictions on travel there for US citizens. Oh, wait, he traveled there as an Indonesian citizen, that's right. Hmm, I thought he was a US citizen, and since he was not born in Indonesia, and was not legally adopted there, he had no right to that passport, or the thousands of dollars in federal foreign student aid he got either. Wow, and STILL he is pres.

The first passport they can find (or that was given to him) was the one issued when he was a member of the Senate. Pretty disgraceful, isn't it?

It's about time someone in power tells it like it is. That was the first time in US history that a President berated a justice in public and it must stop. Bama is not King and his belittling of a justice will come back to haunt him when next he takes one of his pet agendas in front of the court...

It's about time. The "ONE" has been a dictator since he was sworn in as commander AND chief of all 57 states. I was wondering when the sleeping nine were going to respond. Hey, I wonder what Sonia Sotomayor thinks? Ruth Ginsberg, what say you? We've got to clean House, Senate and Whitehouse along with the progressives on the supreme court.
  • Lanikai Eric 2010/03/11 18:12:26
Sotomayoris probably keeping her mouth shut, waiting to help make millions of illegals-legal when the time is right,
  • BoomLover 2010/03/11 07:12:55
    thank you, Chief Justice Roberts!
