Sugary Drinks......BAD!!! Free Donuts......GOOD!!!

Yesterday, NYC Mayor, Michael Bloomburg announced he will seek a city wide ban on sugary drinks 20 oz. or larger.

Today is National Donut Day. Every Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme store will be giving away a free donut with every purchase.

An 8oz glass of regular Coca Cola contains 27g of sugar. An 8oz glass of Minute Maid orange juice contains 24g of sugar.

Should politicans be deciding what we eat, and where we eat it?

The soda ban is aimed at increasing tax revenue. It has NOTHING to do with the promotion of healthy eating.
