Sue Obama? The House might do that

The House SHOULD sue Obama to make him stop changing the law on the fly.
A President must have discretion, especially when Congress is dysfunctional.
I have another idea.

Obama keeps changing Obamacare day-by-day., It's gone beyond winning an election. Now he knows Obamacare simply cannot work as written.

That, plus unilaterally "enacting" the DREAM Act and repealing welfare-to-work, both by E.O., prompted this resolution.

Obama must think he's a king.

Obama is a serial Constitution violator. Losing a civil suit might be just enough to embarrass the Senate into convicting if the House indicts on impeachment.

I've been saying ever since Obama implemented a major part of the Dream Act on his own, after a Democrat-controlled congress had voted against it, that they need to seek a writ of mandate from the federal courts to order him to comply with the Constitution. That is the only remedy the people have when a president begins to act like a dictator.

Dennis Kucinich filed such a suit but it was thrown out by the court, finding that as an individual he had no standing. If the House of Representatives has no standing to rein in a president who is acting extra-constitutionally, then the people have no remedy when a president "goes rogue."

It is likely that the D.C. District Court, where the suit would be filed, would deny it, inasmuch as with Obama's recent appointments of two more liberals they now outnumber the conservatives. However, the chances of the Supreme Court reversing them and granting the writ are pretty good, because without that recourse, the people are left without a remedy when a president violates the Constitutional division of powers and usurps congressional powers.

Just what I said. Obamacare is a chain to keep us all in bondage. You're asking those who vowed to break the chain, to re-forge it instead. Don't ever expect me to join you in advocating that they do something like that.

That "brother's keeper" is an exaggeration, as I thought anyone would be able to figure out.

Cain made that lame excuse after he had murdered a man.

Preferring not to part with one's own hard-earned substance to handle a load that someone else ought to be able to carry, is not murder.

Paul of Tarsus said there were some loads, like a typical backpack load, that everyone needs to carry for himself. When he said "bear one another's burdens," he used a different word, a word for the kind of load that any soldier of the era would know would take a crew to carry.

Wonderful, 35 of 435. Of course I hope it grows, but all resistance has come to die on the vine. Then, if a suit might actually be brought, we'll wait about 3 years for our "justice system" to render some answer unknown.

The only lawmaking authority any President of the United States has is the power to veto and if the legislature can secure enough votes, it can override any veto. The President has "executive" powers, not legislative powers. Obama touts he knows the Constitution, bull (you know what). If that were true, his behavior would not be so arrogant. Obama has proven to be everything a United States President should never be. The only reason he is still seated in the Oval Office, is the same reason Bill Clinton retained his seat, when he should had his ass on the street.

Oops! I'm having a 'disconnect here! WHY should the House SUE a holder of the Oval Office to get him to do his job.....the JOB that he took and OATH to do! This is the job that something like $2,000,000,000 was spent to buy this job.

Just walk up to the guy and put him in cuffs and put him on trial! He is and has been IGNORING the LAW since day 1. He clearly fancies himself RULER of all and thinks he can RULE by E. O. Enough of this fraud!

What would happen to any person that knowingly sold a product or service based on massive lies and fraud? He, or she would be arrested and criminally prosecuted. Is this not the case with ObamaCare? "You can keep your doctor, your insurance policy, your premiums with go down $2,500 a year, etc." It was and is all lies - a blatant fraud on the American people. You better hope the House sues Obama and stops this runaway freight train before what's left of the Constitution is useful for little more than toilet paper.
