Anybody happen to remember Obama saying he was going to cut the national debt in half? If he could do that tomorrow, that would get us back to just under where it was when he took over. Just one of many empty promises.
Do most of you like facts or do you just go by emotion? How about this, I don't think Romney is the answer, but Obama clearly isn't the answer.

After all, they are supposed to serve us - not the other way round.
Yet I believe the allegation is that he avoided tax legally and the question is, is it moral or patriotic that someone who has earned as much as has to pay little or no tax?
It used to be that people where only to happy to voluntarily reinvest in the country that protected them and theirs whilst providing the opportunity to acquire and amass their wealth....
Now - not so much.
He was also a corporate raider; He bought profitable companies that were undervalued, laid of the employees closed the business and stripped and sold the assets for a profit.
You can't swim with the sharks in Wall Street and make money unless you too are a shark...
In a consumer economy when the consumers are starved of cash, the whole thing implodes. How quickly that happens depends on how much you (as a government) are prepared to spend or invest.

And you are right spending is not the answer, it just delays the inevitable.
