States May Lose Gun Makers Over New Laws?

~ The Rebel ~ 2012/08/26 03:35:15
East Coast gun manufacturers may pick up and move west should New york and Connecticut pass laws that would not only drive up their costs, but in doing so, limit their sales. The reason for such drastic measures is that both New York and Connecticut are looking to mandate firearms microstamping, which would cost the industry, taxpayers and consumers.

Republican Senator James L. Seward that passing new guns laws like the microstamping mandate “would send a bad signal to this gun manufacturer that they’re in a state that’s hostile to gun ownership and gun manufacturing.”

“It may make people feel good to think they’ve done something,” he continued, “but at the end of the day, the criminal element and those that go out and do these horrible things, they’re going to get their weapons. And the cost could be great for a community like Ilion.”

They do not care! Simple as that!

Those states deserve to lose the gun factories...

The factories should move to Missouri.. we LOVE guns here, and would probably even give them some TIF money to build their factory.

The location of the prior Crystal Factory in Fenton, would be optimal for a nice new Gun Factory.

Belief in so called "Gun Control" and elimination begs the question concerning all the Armed Guards the Rich and Big Wig Politicians have around them. They care for no one but themselves..... Nit even their children.

The Gun makers are on their own.

This would only track legal firearms ownership and only weapons bought through licensed dealers complying with registration requirements.

It's interesting that when a firearm is traced to the owner, the police don't return it.

The government says they want to encourage business out of one side of their mouth, while out of the other they make it more and more onerous to conduct business. I think states going bankrupt like California and New York are among the worst offenders. I hate sounding like a broken record, but it all boils down to corrupt politicians who must outnumber honest politicians by 100 to 1. You disagree?
