I watched the first 2 minutes of it, and when I discovered that he wasn't going to resign, I flipped the TV over to a documentary on the Anti-Christ. After a while I went back to the speech, and I couldn't tell who was our beloved POTUS and who was the Anti-Christ! Obama's simplistic answers to our complex problems started to make sense. $14 Trillion dollars in debt? Spend your way into prosperity. Growing obesity problems? Let Queen Michelle outlaw tater tots on school and military menus, Added $1.4 Trillion dollars to the national debt last year? Don't cut spending, just freeze spending, insuring another $1.4 Trillion loss next year. Yea, that's the ticket! Not to worry folks. Dear Leader is here to protect you. -- Yer pal, Ferrari Bubba

Same old rhetoric with no real solutions. Am I the only one who has noticed that none of his solutions actually address the respective problem? My absolute favorite,...?

"Every day, families sacrifice to live within their means. They deserve a government that does the same. So tonight, I am proposing that starting this year, we freeze annual domestic spending for the next five years."

If we are not 'living within our means' now, how does spending at this rate for another 5 years help? Why does anyone still fall for this?

And this is alright with you...Obama can take his fundamentally change America attitude and....He will be brought down and found guilty for so many things...he is a disgrace! Lies and people believe it...both sides are good putting out BS and the people pick a certain side and their side is and and and So sick! America will be destroyed if we don't think outside the box and shut all thugs in our Gov. down and OUT!!!!!!!

Actually, Juice, I think Obama's a pretty good Prez. I'm not in favor of all his acts - he's had to compromise because of the lock-step GOP and the right wing of his own party. But I'll take him over some lunatic from the right any day.

He probably made someone "a deal they can't refuse". Godfather, Chicago politics. Don't forget who you people elected to be our president. He was raised by communist parents, step parents and grandparents. He sat in the fold of an American hating pastor for many years and embraces Islam, while professing to be a Christian, and yet, here he is: our president. Your right, he must be brilliant to have dooped and deceived that many people.
America is in trouble and he is NOT the answer.

The facts of sustained unemployment, wild spending orgies, Health Care mandates jammed down our throats, an economy frozen in shock, inept crisis management ... all speak much louder than flowery double-talk.

America was scammed by the media. This awful mistake has to end.

National debt is over $14 trillion, the federal budget deficit is $1.4 trillion and, depending on whose estimates are used, the unfunded liability or indebtedness of the federal government (mostly in the form of obligations for Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and prescription drugs) is estimated to be between $60 and $100 trillion.

And how does he address it? With more spending.
Please Mr. Obama, why don't you show us the ROI on the last $ 862 billion you wasted? Watching him was like watching a fish in an aquarium, the mouth opens but nothing comes out.

It is interesting to note that President Obama did not mention in his State of the Union Speech anything as it relates to the passage by the 212 Congress for the the Stem Cell Research Advancement Act of 2010 to become the law of the land.

If you loose your health... you loose everything...

This law will protect approximately 150,000,000 + individual living in the U.S.A. who suffer from chronic live threatening illnesses and diseases by making it difficult for others to stop the federal funding for this vital research.

Versitile plori-potent embryonic stem cell therapy is the answer. We need cures now.

Second, it's very risky to give directly personal information. Lot's of crackpots out here.

If it was to work then private companies would be all over themselves trying to make it work. Only the government gets in on the pie in the sky act. They are closing the one and only, that worked.

    obama and Groundhog Day

This year, both Groundhog Day and the State of the Union address occur on the same day.
As Air America Radio pointed out,

"It is an ironic juxtaposition of events:

    one involves a meaningless ritual

in which we look to a creature of little intelligence for prognostication

while the other involves a groundhog."

    nothing else need be said!
